Fantastic word game

That first f-bomb uttered on Band Camp Radio by former DJ Ray Dio resulted in his immediate termination and the installation of a 7-second delay system by the chief engineer.

All urban legends eventually become the subject of hysterical chain e-mails warning of immediate global demise and right wing conspiracies.

(This note is for the anal retentive posters--and they know who they are, Stuart: My aside would have appeared as an additional note had I hit preview instead of post. Alas, this was not the case. Some people figured that out. Some did not. Most of us, however, managed to stay on our feet even as the world rocked on it's axis as a result. Move along here, nothing to see.)

Right wing conspiracies are called that because usually people don't give left-wingers the credit to give the effort to think long enough or hard enough to come up with such wide-ranging, comprehensive, encompassing concepts.

Wide-ranging, comprehensive, encompassing concepts are explored and discussed in a new lecture series being presented this year by the Band Camp Boosters Club.

The Band Camp Boosters Club this year will be adding some women to the lineup as eye candy for all the men... ;)

Next weekI should be able to give you a review of 2012 because my wife and I are planning on seeing it tomorrow assuming of course that I can get someone to cover my Band Camp duties.

Band Camp duties are suspended from Thanksgiving Day until the following Monday thereby putting Band Camp in step with the American long holiday weekend tradition.

(Travel Warning: A hotel in France gives guests the chance to live like a hamster - where you can eat grain, run in a giant wheel and sleep on hay. Oh, those clever French.)

Weekend tradition is that our day starts at 6:00 a.m. and is pretty much over by 8:30-9:00 a.m., assuming, of course that everyone is not all tapped out from Black Friday shopping.

Black Friday shopping, as it is every year will be crazy as people will camp out over night for the specials as most stores will open up at 4 AM.

Most stores will open up at 4 AM but I sure as hell won't be there.

(Started wrapping Christmas presents yesterday--anything to get that out of the way. This year's theme is blue and silver.)

There is a method to Anyacat's Christmas shopping madness and I am looking forward to the next time Anyacat does some topless driving and which one of the girls will be blue and which one will be silver. :D

I guess it depends on how nipply it is outside. See what I did there? :p

Divine Dave, I will unofficially be in the office this weekend so I'll stay on call and take those duties so you can hit the movies with Mrs. Divine Dave. Just be sure to have your people transfer your voicemails to my people.

"The Lone Ranger" was portrayed by Clayton Moore who couldn't seem to ever give up that persona in his later years just as Adam West has never been able to give being Batman.
