Fantastic word game

On Thanksgiving, anything goes so I expect we'll all be having great fun at Silkie's with herself and Mr. Silkie.

Anyacat, as I see it, you've got subject (Fall of a bar stool and break his leg), you've got verb (is) and you've got everything else (what...uncle....night....) so Stuart should have zero problems with your contribution.

Herself and Mr. Silkie, aka Sweetie Pie, who we will pretend does not fall asleep watching the football game after dinner.

Watching the football game after dinner is not something I will do.

(WMC, you did not see that I did not put the comma in bold, hence making that the break between the beginning, which has to be in bold, and the ending, which also has to be in bold, in this case "anything goes," which should have been how your sentence began, which it did not and if I could think of a way to make this run on sentence run on even more than it does, I would, but I can't, so it won't.)

AW MAN, now it's the divine Dave

Stay awake is what I plan to do for at least the next hour.

Ok, that's not a sentence. There's no verb. Please rewrite or someone please go back to herself and Mr. Silkie. DM, SHAME SHAME SHAME for not recognizing that. Must have been quite the date tonight.

Edit because you are all posting too quickly so I'll go back to the last correct sentence and clue (my own). Good thing Stuart isn't here to see this.

Herself and Mr. Silkie will do a fine job hosting us all.

Still open for business is one of my favorite signs.

(Alone on Thanksgiving actually sounds rather inviting)

Now what, oh Dave, again

Linens are one of those things about which people rarely give thought.

Thought about putting Anyacat in the guest room but decided to give her my bed.

Not that I'm giving up my bed. I'm just giving her my bed with me in.....never mind. ;D

My bed awaits my tired bones, and my pillow beckons to me to plop my head down on it, now that we have only 50 pages to go.

My bed, your bed, I suspect Mrs. WMC thinks of it has her bed.

(This is very confusing because I am in a Facebook conversation about ghosts)

What the...now Silkie

Now that we have only 50 pages to go, the weaklings are giving up and going to bed--woosies know who you are.
