Fantastic word game

Everywhere you find people with an internet connection, the news of TFWG's remarkable achievements will be known.

3 years...1,000 pages...10,000 posts...this is just freakin' epic man!

Known in the past as a simple mom 'n' pop web site, radio-info.com will henceforth be recognized as the mothership for the greatest internet thread of all time!

So it is written. So it shall be done.

Congratulations andrea on putting us over the top!
Congratulations dmar on the 10,000th post!

The greatest internet thread of all time devoted to an imaginary band camp, unrequited love for Olivia Newton-John, and sundry complaints from those drop in looking for hidden meanings and portentous signs.

(It snowed here today, not much and most of it melted into black ice come nightfall, but it snowed here. I am no longer young enough to be thrilled by snow, nor wealthy enough to flee south for the season. I am reduced to sitting in the cold muttering "Snow, snow go away, and stay there..." I think I need to take up drinking. Only 115 days until topless days return. Bah humbug!)

Yay!!!!!! Let's shoot out the confetti, and party like it's 999 pages!!!!! We've reached a milestone in this thread, thanks everyone, including

Slikie
WMC2006
quadraphonic
andreajesus
Anyacat
raptusregaliter
dmargalotti
and others too!!

Wowzee! This thread was started on December 3, 2006 at 7:12:32 a.m. CST. Are we really trying for 10,000 pages? What the heck, we might as well be here when the band camp library reopens in a few days.

Vigilance is mine, thus saith the TFWG Powers That Be and the powers say that we shall march onward and upward.

Well guys, congratulations. We did it. Slightly flawed thanks to quad's computer gremlins but we did it. Congrats to Andrea for responding to herself and getting us over the hump. And congrats to Divine Dave for #10,000. That's amazing. The only thing that would make it more amazing is if one of the mods or editors stopped in for a congratulatory visit. But that's wishful thinking.

But guys.....let's not waste posts with chatter and not continuing the game. Marc and Silkie are chatting away but not posting. This is NOT LVRJ's Impossible Trivia. Let's not kill TFWG here. We've done something special here and then we immediately kill it???? I don't think so. March onward, soldiers!!!!

By the way, I'm watching the Carrie Underwood special tonight on Fox. Dolly Parton just sang. That woman is nothing but plastic now. Her face looks as bad as Joan Rivers. How does she manage to move her mouth?? ???

Onward and upward we go, as WMC takes up more space bloviating than anyone else, myself included.

Stay the course and not screw it up so we can now go for page 2000, so we only have 998 pages to go.

We only have 998 pages to go and I shudder to think of the countless unstructured sentences, missed clues, and kenrayc misspellings.

Sorry ken. ;)

The countless unstructured sentences, missed clues, and kenrayc misspellings are all part of TFWG, but I wonder how long it will take for someone to figure out that one of the players is really just a front for an elaborate Turing Test?

Newhart co-starred sexy actress Mary Frann who looked damned good in a sweater.

Hard to believe she passed away way back in 1998. :(

In real life, the owners, moderators and editors of Radio-Info are undoubtedly still reeling from the high of the incredibly successful conclusion to The Quest To Page 1000.

I smell a tv miniseries. ;)

The incredibly sucessful conclusion to the quest to page 1000 is a legendary milestone in Radio-info history.
