In a smooth and orderly fashion, all TFWG members recited the TFWG Pledge to continue to stay the course and to not create problems that don't exist.

To not create problems that don't exist sounds like a laudable goal.
This thread would have died out long ago without expanding the last clues beyond one word. Creativity, originality and beauty would have gone with it.

(Well, I'll play the last clear word or phrase, although it was tougher when you had only one word with which to work. I see no reason to pay any special attention to the Dude. He originated the game, and so I'm sure he believes he has a proprietary right to do whatever he wants her. It's best to just muddle through his nonsense until he gets tired and goes elsewhere.)

At all times though, no matter how much humor, pathos, and panache you can fit into your contribution, you still have to check and make sure you're replying to the right last clue.
