Fantastic word game

Our P.E. teacher during my grade schools days was adored by parents and children alike until the day he was busted for dealing drugs and then we never heard from him again.

True story!

Go away, little girl, go away, little girl;
I’m not supposed to be alone with you.
I know that your lips are sweet,
But our lips must never meet.
I belong to someone else and I must be true

I must be true to my task, however long it takes to accomplish.

Please file this in the archives Silkie:

Our acrobatics of younger times were severely restricted for those of us who could not even execute a simple somersault.

Not a problem, Raptus. Marc, the reason the dictionary is there is so that you can feed your head with knowledge. Glad we could be of assistance to both of you in such a grand way. And remember...tomorrow is the big day.

To be around for the unveiling of the new band camp library today is truly a pleasure.

Sir, that would be tomorrow (Thursday). Most of us need to be there for 8:30am except for quad who has to be there for 7:30am because of his demerit-worthy slipup a couple of days ago. PowerWorld techs will be filing live online reports throughout the morning. Local news crews from outside of PowerWorld will also be on hand. Don't forget that the PowerWorld Board of Governors will also be there and, remember, never ever look any of them directly in the eyes. We don't want what happened a couple of years ago to happen again.

Game-plan for tomorrow is to follow behind the Board of Governors along the parade route and be available before and afterwards for interviews and refreshments.

The parade-route is really just along the library grounds and throughout the building itself. We aren't marching down the street or anything.

Interviews and refreshments will be the order of the day, but I have a feeling the refreshments will be more appealing to most band campers.

Broccoli Cheese Bites:

Two 10 oz packages of fresh frozen broccoli
3 eggs
1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Cream
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp white pepper
2 Tbsp minced onion
1 lb shredded cheddar cheese
3 Tbsp butter or margarine

Preheat oven to 350. Steam broccoli for six minutes and chop. Beat eggs, add flour, cream, seasonings, baking powder and onion. Mix well. Melt butter on a 9" x 13" baking dish and pour in broccoli mixture. Bake for 35 minutes. Allow mixture to set until cool - about 6-8 minutes, and cut into bite-sized servings.

Call home and tell mom and dad they are having fun checking out the new library digs, scarfing down Miss Silkie's Homemade Delights, and taking part in some of Anyacat's Instant Gratification Trivia Contests.

Anyacat's Instant Gratification Trivia Contests pale in comparison to her Instant Gratification Fun and Games.

(Thanks to those who have so generously contributed to my urgent need for cows. Don't stop now. Meanwhile, I am overjoyed that WMC is fast becoming one of our most valuable farm citizens. Apparently, my capacity to be overjoyed has just reached a new low! Now, about (un)Happy Island...)
