Fantastic word game

A Dean Martin celebrity roast always seems to me like a desperate attempt for comedy.

Yeah dude, I see what you did. You added a word to my clue.
1/2 demerit. The wordplay saved you a full one. Your paycheck will reflect accordingly.

Comedy is a foreign concept to Mr. Jerry Lewis.

If you ever get a chance, just try to watch 10 consecutive minutes of "Cracking Up" aka "Smorgasbord." This flick rests comfortably in my Top 5 list of Worst Movies Ever Made.

Mr. Jerry Lewis was at his best when he was a young man paired with Dean Martin and for nearly a decade they were the on top of the entertainment world.

Apparently Jerry is adored and revered in France...so what does that tell you?

Dry powdered Korean gum comes in a variety of flavors, does not promote tooth decay and has been recommended by 4 out of 5 dentists.

Don't ask what happened to the 5th dentist. You DON'T want to know!

My last interview with librarian applicants was so productive that I hired them all, too them to the lounge to celebrate and assigned them to different departments of the vast TFWG library.

Reminder: For the weekend arts and crafts retreat, we will paint and decorate the library dollhouse, which is really a doll mansion. The sewing circle will also meet for all manner of needlework, so don't forget to pack those baskets full of darning and mending, tapestries and crochet projects that need to be stitched together.

So sorry. I merely bolded a word that I was using anyway. It didn't change the clue in any way and it's not like I'm using clues from the previous page or anything like SOME people we know. Right, quad? Hmm?? Hmmm?? ;D

The vast TFWG library has scheduled a vast arrray of artistic retreats over the next several weekends which will include visits and presentations from local artisans and experts.

Visits and presentations from local artisans and experts are the cornerstone of the TFWG Educational Outreach Department, except when we have the nationally-known speakers.

Yeah dude, it's not that big a deal, only 1/2 demerit. I just felt like throwing my weight around. Wanted something to be in the minutes to prove I lived. My certificates and blue ribbons won't last forever.

To enjoy the experience just have a beer and turn them speakers up to rock out.

I partying to my greatest hits of all time 70s, 80s, 90s and beyond. like by Twisted sister "I wanna Rock".
