Fantastic word game

Much as we promote it, the only times the BIOSphere Project receives visitors is when Olympic athletes train and live there for a short time leading up to the Games because it allows them to experience the various weather conditions that they will experience in real life when they eventually get to the actual Olympic sites.

They can even practice receiving medals. ;D

The actual Olympic sites in and around Vancouver have had little to no snow fall which has forced Olympic officials to bring in snow from other areas and what makes it really funny is the fact that while that part of Canada has seen virtually no snow this winter, 49 out of the 50 U.S. states have had snow with the lone exception being Hawaii.

All the snow did not fall the right places at the right time, which would have killed the germs that knocked Sweetie Pie down and kept him in need of Silkie's TLC and nursing all weekend.

TLC and nursing all weekend but Silkie would be a great prize for the Band Camp Auction and Tractor Pull.

At all times the best way to do a linguini test is to throw the pasta on the wall and if it sticks, its done.

If it sticks it's done is a linguine testing method that requires cleaning the walls, unlike simply taking a strand and checking for suitability as to taste and texture.

Suitability as to taste and texture is how Miss Silkie rates any foodstuffs before they are added to the library cafeteria menu.

Raptus must have had the holiday today. Otherwise, he would have been in and out of here all day especially with that linguistics/linguini thing. ;)

The library cafeteria menu indicates that we are running a special on Silkie's exclusive, homemade chicken soup, which has never failed to get those with the funky woo woos, aka the dreaded bowangi disease, aka a tough cold, feeling better in no time at all.

In no time at all, Silkie's Sweetie Pie was back to his old self and followed Silkie to the library to bother her as much as he could.

I post my problems online on only rare occasions, because nobody ever seems to care about the minutiae of my life, and when I do post them, it usually bores even me.

Usually my problems are involved and complicated by the involvements and complications of others, and the stories won't fit into a confined space anyway.

Kixk in and roll on as yet another snowstorm is upon us here in New England but all is right with the world because dmargalotti has already arrived with his regular early morning contribution.

Although, this morning, it looks slightly earlier than normal. In fact, I thought I might beat him to it. He's a sneaky one he is.
