It does seem at these times that Christian holiday celebrations prevail, so I wish a Blessed Passover to those who observe and a Happy Festivus for the rest of us.

(But I did like the Easter Ferret)

The rest of us are going to rock til dawn with another beer.

As part of my effort to drop 25 pounds I need to give up those double bacon cheese burgers from Jack in the box.

those ultimate cheese burgers are hard to resist.

Jack in the box and Jill rushing up the hill to canoodle with him are a couple of things that I don't recall about that particular story.

Happy Easter, Passover, Festivus, Boston Red Sox Opening Night or Sunday to one and all.

Red sox prevail? Nah, not if the Yankees have their way... ;)

WOW!!!!!!!!! I should have known that saying something about the Spankees would create an appearance by The Elusive Andreajesus. I should have done that months ago. You know what that means: It means that, even though she left TFWG, she's still here watching us, paying attention, and here in spirit. Nice to see you, andrea, and welcome back. :-* :-* ;) ;) ;)

And I won't even complain that she used two sentences. But just this once. :-* ;) ;D

For a while, we've had to go without baseball but it's finally here.

It's finally here ,baseball season and the Giants will do good this year.

Welcome back Andrea.

The other team is usually the Yankees and I love them best when they lose, particularly when they lose to the Red Sox.

The Red Sox beat back the Spankees tonight (sorry andrea...not really ;) ) and the sellout crowd was treated to performances by Steven Tyler and Neil Diamond.

Huge fans of Olivia Newton-John rarely see her in concert because there's no dedicated space to park their mobility scooters.

Andrea's fleeting appearance is certainly a cause for celebration. I will therefore imbibe the appropriate beverage, but the Easter Ferret will have to pass because he's still working off that last DUI and I don't want to have to drive him to all his appearances again next year.

Mobility scooters make it possible for people with mobility problems to go to places they never could before including the all-you-can eat 3pm blue plate dinner special featured at numerous Florida restaurants.

The all-you-can eat 3pm blue plate dinner special featured at numerous Florida restaurants is not as grandiose a target for the Hoverounders as visiting the Grand Canyon or an Olivia Newton-John concert, but everybody needs sustenance after a long night blocking the aisles and asking for help with stuff off the second row at the SuperCenters.

SuperCenters are for retail customers who feel that they have moved beyond AverageCenters.

At the SuperCenter you can get a 128-count bale of toilet paper. The AverageCenter stocks only 4-packs.

"Olivia's in the house" is something you might want to think twice about before shouting it out in a crowded place because you could be held legally liable for the ensuing riot.
