Band camp this summer has many events planned that are open to the public including the ONJ Fanfest, the mid-summer Topless Driving Road Rally, and the ever popular Hot Air Balloon and Archery Competition.
 
The ever popular Hot Air Balloon and Archery Competition, unlike the TrailerShow and the June PowerWorld WeddingSpectacularExpo, will go off without a hitch.

Unless I'm forgetting something about air balloons and archery. There's no hitches, right?
 
The PowerWorld Trailer Park and RV Camping Emporium sounds like something one would see whilst driving along I-5 between Olympia and Seattle.

Or between Hood River and The Dalles, if you are in the Beaver State and driving I-84. In fact, I think I passed something like that a couple of days ago on my way back home.....

And now I get back here to the Coove, and it was about 20 degrees *hotter* yesterday than it was east of the Cascades the entire week I was there! Weird.
 
Along I-5 between Olympia and Seattle you will pass the Sea-Tac Airport and the city of Tacoma.


Been their and done that a dozen times, actually on I-5 from San Diego CA to Vancouver Canada.Same with US 101 or Highway 1 from L.A to Port Angeles Washington.
 
The city of Tacoma sounds kind of boring but, since I've never been there, I'll let kenrayc and darth talk it up and maybe I'll reconsider later.

My catalytic converter and several others were stolen by people who apparently have no respect for other peoples property and even less concern for the environment.

Criminals AND polluters! Who ever heard of such depravity?
 
In the act of slowly slipping the drape aside just a sliver, to have a slight peek at the glorious sunrise I noted a grandmother with two small children, of all things, having a swim at daybreak.
 
Feeding time at band camp is really all day long whenever you are hungry due to the proliferation of vending machines.


Just don't mistake the candy machines for the ones dispensing condoms. ;D
 
The proliferation of vending machines, some would argue, has helped to provoke the decline of human customer service.

[size=8pt]@WMC2006--The Glass Museum in Tacoma (along the waterfront, down the street from the Tacoma Dome) is actually quite interesting. As I understand, the attached workshop is one of the main places where Dale Chihuly is based.
 
The decline of human customer service has not vanished entirely, but is sometimes disguised in the form of data entry personnel at your service.
 
Data Entry Personnel At Your Service is, oddly enough, a new field of study this upcoming fall semester at PowerWorld U.
