That trivia game down the hall supposedly uses the same stage that, on the weekends, is also used for taping The Price Is Right.

Yes, I do dial up, from my laptop, a computer back at my parents' house which is then connected to a router and their DSL line. I haven't used an actual central dial-up service in several years. Depending on where I am, the long distance tolls can be ridiculous (the Red Lion Hotel in Pendleton once charged me $35 for a two minute call from the 541 area code to 503, but then again, that was before I habitually started using 101-0288..... ;o)

Drew Carey is in the driver's seat but it's like he's going 50 MPH under the speed limit, and all the fun and excitement of the programme is drying up rather quickly.

Drying up rather quickly are the stations in Fresno owned by Clear channel, as they are all going to syndicated formats taking out all local programming.
KSOF went with John Tesh and Delila, KALZ went with Ryan Seacrest, KRZR went to Hard Drive and all other music is syndicated, the other companies like Peak, Lotus, Wilks, and Buckley all still have local DJs and Music. CC has the most stations in their cluster here, but the other companies are local and better.

All local programming on TFWG's Band Camp Radio originates from the PowerWorld Broadcast Studios and as you can imagine, it features marching band arrangements of songs from the Olivia Newton-John catalog in heavy rotation.
Heavy rotation might be a term for my even louder reaction and language at 1:30 a.m. when a neighbor decided to beat on walls and bang furniture around to locate dropped earrings that would have been fine until sometime around daybreak at least.

Sometime around daybreak at least is when you should begin searching for missing things whether they be people or earrings because searching in the dark of night not only makes your task more difficult, it can also drive up the cost of your electric bill.
The cost of your electric bill is probably pretty small (just some paper and a little ink), but the actual electricity is a killer.

The Spanish Inquisition has amongst it's weaponry such diverse elements as fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope, and nice red uniforms.
Sidewalk Santas are unlike the Inquisitors because they rarely poke you with soft cushions or make you sit in the comfy chair.
Some PBS stations run PBS Kids 24/7 on a subchannel, and even though I know it's there, it's still weird to not have had a drink in 20 years and still see Clifford the Big Red Dog at 4 am.
Clifford the Big Red Dog at 4 am is probably humorous if you've consumed adult beverages and while that's not something I've personally experienced, there was a time in college when several of us had a little too much to drink and laughed til we cried while watching Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.
Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood came on at 5pm here, which isn't that good a time for working up to "drunk," unless you're in college, when "anytime's a good time."
