Everyone can enjoy free fruit smoothies today in the library thanks to our Chief Mixologist but let me tell you this, I had better not catch anyone trying to spike Silkie's concoctions with adult beverages.
On the bottom of my left shoe are the dried and sticky remains of a wad of gum that was deposited on the street by some rude and inconsiderate person. 
Some rude and inconsiderate person left a part of their exhaust system in the rode for my teenage son to run over yesterday with the family van and of course he didn't bother to tell me about it so imagine my surprise when I awoke this morning to find the van had a flat tire.
Based on the description, I'm guessing it was part of an exhaust system. But you never know, it could have been quad's catalytic converter.

A flat tire is not a good way to start your day, and neither is an unannounced internet outage that lasted yesterday and into the afternoon today, thanks to our phone company.
