Fantastic word game

Certain individuals <*cough*SKenJenningsSummers*cough*> are no longer present here because they take stuff too seriously, some just know they can't hang, some are just too good in their own minds, and still others want to get choked in the shallow water..

Massachusetts or any place else we desire to travel is okay, because we have an all clear, clear as a bell, but take it slow and easy holiday coming up, woooo hoooo!

"Woooo hooo" it sounded like the guy at Illusions said when someone encouraged him to go strike up a conversation leading to other stuff with a fat redneck of unclear gender.

Pat was the name of one of my co-workers at the hacker convention a couple weeks ago.

[size=8pt]And yes, they are far geekier (and generally better presented) than Star Trek conventions closer to my home. Incidentally, there was a free one being held last weekend in Portland, and it was an even bigger disaster than Voyager smashing into the side of that one Romulan ship!

@dmarglotti: I was not offended in the least by your comment. Darth Vader was actually a character from Star Wars, not Star Trek. I originally tried signing on to this board under the handle "JarJar" but that one was, oddly enough, already taken.

A couple weeks ago the TFWG band camp season was in full swing, but by this late in the summer most kids have returned to their compulsory government schools, and the reservations at the FWG Knight's Inn mostly consists of the fantasy band campers.

The fantasy band campers generally speaking have no musical ability of their own which is why they have to get their vicarious marching band thrills by following real band campers.

Real band campers are able to arrange music, appreciate music, have no worries, know themselves and each other, and know when to party and when to relax, rest and take it easy from our labors.

In short, real band campers are the real pros. The others are imitations and wannabes.

Enjoy the day off, but if you go to the beach beware the sea with its tranquil appearance and lightly lapping waves, as the glistening calm beckons with a hurricane offshore.

With a hurricane offshore, most people start thinking about evacuating and boarding up their homes, but there are always some yahoos who want to stay in their homes and stick it out.

Stick it out and hope for the best is what all of us Boston Red Sox lovers do this time of year when we begin to realize it's about time to wait for next year.

It's about time to wait for next year if you're a Red Sox fan, my friend.

At least you can watch Manny being Manny again. And for your sakes, at least this time he's doing it over in Chicago for a month.
