Fantastic word game

From Amy Fisher allegedly came a murder and her subsequent assault conviction, before she embarked on a career doing unmentionable things that I really can't be specific about on here.

[size=8pt]Sorry Quad, you didn't properly terminate your response so I had to build from the previous one submitted by D^J. That's 1/2 demerit. (Additional 1 demerit penalty for calling me a "Linux bigot" on another thread! I also use BSD, just not as often.)

"oohs" and "ahs and other unmentionable things that I really can't be specific about on here include that quad really did try, given the second half of the bolding was there.

What can I say? I'm a soft touch for some people.

There was a mistake made, and I cautiously admit to its commission.

I humbly accept the demerit, Darth, but that "Linux bigot" thing wasn't me. I would love me some Linux if I had an extra machine to play with it on, and the time to climb the learning curve and such.

Its commission, upon being pointed out, also caused me to screw up in the process of doing so.

[size=8pt]And an apology directed to you, quad, is in order as well. I was in a hurry and really should have gone back to the other thread and checked it first, because I honestly got confused and thought it was you, for some reason. (For the record, it was actually landtuna who tagged me as the Linux bigot, so one demerit will be handed his/her way next time s/he posts here. It's not fair to BSD and Solaris to consider me polarised to one *X environment, just because I use and mention the one particular environment more often!)

So to you Quad, I do apologise unreservedly and thus remove one demerit from your record.

Our earth-bound suits, otherwise known as the PowerWorld Executive Board of Governors, appreciate all of our hard work throughout the year and is working hard to further the fruits of our labor.

Darth, I'm fairly certain that landtuna has never (or hardly ever anyway) posted here. You will, therefore, have to go back to whatever that other board is to chastise him. ;D

Worthwhile attempts at trying to make technology actually work for me tonight, instead of against me, have all proven themselves as being anything but worthwhile.

[size=8pt]Like this business of having to submit my passcode 2-5 times here before the RI server finally logs me in. And even then it bounces me back to the main page, instead of the one I logged in from (like it usually does.) And don't get me started on all the fun I've had tonight with Wine, Mono and the Weather Star 4000 emulator!

@WMC2006--
If landtuna posts here again/ever, I'll serve him/her then. Consider it contingency.

"Business music" programming is what is provided by Muzak and a bunch of other similar companies.

[size=8pt]And when I first fired up my sat box eons ago, I discovered that Olivia Newton John's recordings are considered "business music"! ;o)

Muzak and a bunch of other similar companies play what used to be known as elevator music, soothing tunes to get you to the top of what used to be known as The Sears Tower, although I don't ever recall hearing music on the elevator, just a pitch for the 45 seconds it took to get to the 103rd floor.

Nowadays you can step onto the glass floor and look down. Oooooooohhh la la.

Some freaks to consider during many courses of discussion probably live in the smelly, noisy land of downtown Portland.

Downtown Portland, from what I have seen on Food Network and HGTV shows, sounds like some kind of granola/criminal land.

Hey this is page 1490. Shout out to my favorite station growing up, top 40 WFLB. w00t w00t

Granola/criminal land sounds like some oddball movies that are playing at the makeshift outdoor theater right now at band camp while the foreign exchange students are packing up and meandering their way to their respective destinations.

Thanks to the staffers who helped out this morning. Assistance is needed all weekend for anyone who can spare a few hours. I did see Miss Silkie and even raptus this morning helping out near the south wing. I heard rumors of dmargalotti assisting near the Sign-Out Tent. I have heard zero rumors of quad assisting anywhere which is very disappointing. The FWG Cafe is open all day today and tomorrow and Monday until 2pm.
