Fantastic word game

Over a period of years here at FWG, we have counted over 1500 pages, over 143,000 views, and over 15,000 replies.

As my Thanksgiving gift to all of you, I am suspending the alphabetical game for the long holiday weekend. While I did end with an O clue, you may choose to continue with another O clue as your ending clue or go with anything you want. We will resume the alphabetical posting Monday morning with dmargalotti's Early Morning Contribution. Happy Thanksgiving to one and all!!!

Over 15 000 replies and we're well on our way to 150 000 views, but that won't hold a candle to when we finally hit 150 000 replies and 150 000 000 views.

[size=8pt]Wonder if I'll still be on here when we hit 50 000 replies.......

@Miss Silkie--
I never got my butt paddled when it was discovered I had gotten a tattoo and two piercings, but then again, I was already in my 20s. There was nothing the parental unit/s could have legally done to stop me anyways!

(Because somebody undoubtedly will ask: it's an eagle in flight, and two steel/silver rings. I'll leave it to your imagination to figure out where everything's sited, 'cuz I ain't tellin! No, it's not *there*. ;o)

When we finally hit 150 000 replies and 150 000 000 views, we'll be responding not with computers but with mental telepathy from the PowerWorld OuterSpace Senior Citizen Mental Acuity Center.

Better, Stronger, Faster is the original description of Steve Austin but now it fully describes our good friend, dmargalotti, who is our International Director of Band Camp.

Jumps across continents in a single bound as he visits those worldwide band camps. :)

Our good friend, dmargalotti, who is our International Director of Band Camp, will get us back on track with the letters P and Q, as a matter of propriety.

Propriety not withstanding, this weekend we are free from the constraints of the recently adapted letter of the day posting policy here at TFWG so for the next few days you may comment and respond the old-fashioned way.

Hope all of you were able to enjoy the holiday with family and friends. Back to work today for some of us.

The old-fashioned way, as I'm sure quad will agree, is the best way and that is THE way right through the weekend.

Alphabetically, we will resume Monday morning.

I'm working today as well, Mr. IDBC, but, really, at PowerWorld, we're never really off anyway. ;)

Skeleton crews working today in the IT and Security departments. If you have any leftovers from yesterday, I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you dropped by the main gate with some food.

Through the weekend I would really like to hear a lot more Olivia Newton-John on the radio but I know that on some stations, that's only going to happen if she records a Christmas album.

A Christmas album is fun, but a country western tune on a supposed classic rock station segued with ELO is riotously funny.

Qrockradio.com sounds almost like it might have been the URL for a mid-70s-era radio station specialising in four-channel surround audio broadcasting.

[size=8pt]An anachronism, in other words. But in all seriousness, were there ever any radio stations that made their presence known on the ARPA-Net?

Four-channel surround audio broadcasting was avaliable in the early 70s on KFYE 93.7, but the idea never really caught on.

It's kind of the same with AM stereo in the late 80s, the receivers weren't in demand.

The market has had more than it's share of ups and downs the past few years but if you're looking for long-term growth with minimal risk, most stock market analysts would suggest that you purchase as many shares of stock in PowerWorld Industries as you can possible acquire.

I guess I'm playing with myself today. ::)

That much better or worse doesn't matter because, in the end, this game will keep rolling along until the internet or Radio-Info.com becomes obsolete.

Which will never happen because of us. ;D

until the internet or Radio-Info.com becomes obsolete we will continue working to see how many pages we can achieve before The Fantastic Word Game fizzles out.
