The thinking around here is that when all else fails, it's a good idea to steer the conversation back to one of our core topics such as Olivia Newton-John, band camp, or anything that makes reference to Illusions.

Anything that makes reference to Illusions will be illusory after the side trip from the family's place on the way to, from or during the little Christmas vacation.

During the little Christmas vacation, just be thankful you're not living your life under the thumb of small-minded nightclub owners.

Owners don't like doing things any different than the usual.

Usual is a very cool word because it has the letter U in it twice.

Twice is also how many times the letter "u" appears in "vacuum," and in that one it's back to back, which briefly amazed my first-grader.

First-grader comings and goings were briefly delayed in the quadraphonic household as the little quad-ette stopped to check out Dad's double U.

Dad's double U was the correction, but she first spelled it with two c's, one u, and two m's, which was actually a pretty good guess.

A pretty good guess it was with the two c's and one U but I'm not too sure about a good guess with the double M but then again I suppose it depends on how old the little tyke is.

The little tyke is six, which is old enough to know that "vacuum," like all advertising and gimmickry, was created to trick people.

To trick people like me, you have to get up pretty early in the morning which is what I do most days and that generally allows me to have the pleasure of making the first official TFWG post of the day.

The first official TFWG post of the day brings us into our workday and helps keeps things running smoothly and efficiently.


Which is why things go to hell in a handbasket when someone else happens to make the first offiicial TFWG post of the day. ;D

Smoothly and efficiently is how we like things around here to run but every once in a while, some yahoo throws a monkey wrench in the works.

A monkey wrench into the works is what petty people throw when they can't get their way.

Their way is often something you need to decide if you want to follow or you can opt for the alternative which is the highway.

The highway is littered with people who thought that if they were just quiet and didn't say anything we would just go away and forget about the library and, of course, TFWG, at which we excel.

Library and, of course, TFWG, at which we excel are some of the work to which we are called, and no manner of unfriending will change that.

Unfriending will change that manner in which we communicate with each other but that just means we can go back to one of those old fashioned ways of face to face communication.

Face to face communication is usually the best way to foster communication between two people however there are times when dealing with certain individuals that you might want to avoid any kind of direct contact.
