Fantastic word game

150,000 views is an epic achievement, but not as much as it is getting mentioned in Tom Taylor's newsletter.

Tom Taylor's Newsletter simply does not spend as much time with the more intellectual pursuits of the Fantastic Word Game as do the Board Moderators, but we muddle through somehow with our delightful prose

Our delightful prose keeps the moderators, editors, techs and owners entertained on a daily basis and I know for a fact that they get all giddy when I mention them in a contribution.

Speaking of them, Radio-Info's holiday weekend crew is invited to join the PowerWorld holiday weekend crew for holiday leftovers anytime. It's the least we can do. ;)

Post at the FWG is usually my first activity of the day after showering and brushing my teeth but since tomorrow is Christmas Day, I'm not expecting to make my usual early morning contribution since I will be busy playing the role of Santa Claus in my house.

Playing the role of Santa Claus in my house, or more specifically at my brother's house, I get to get up at 4am Christmas morning to drive he and his family to the airport.

How lucky am I. :D

Most of my family members are away visiting other family members so we all celebrated last weekend. So tomorrow, after a nice long nap once I return from the airport, will be just another day. I'll be visiting the PowerWorld and R-I weekend crews and hosting their luncheon. Or, maybe I'll head to Radio-Info HQ and take over the website and give them the day off. One or the other, I haven't decided which. ;D

The airport probably won't be very busy tomorrow but two places that do very well on Christmas Day with people who don't celebrate the holiday are movie theaters and Chinese food restaurants.

Movie theaters and Chinese food restaurants typically don't get much business from me any more during most parts of the year, especially when you consider the Indyplex I used to go to burned down a couple years ago, and that I get most of my Chinese food from the deli at the Safeway down the road.

[size=8pt]Well, there is always my old favourite-since-childhood out in Camas, the "Chinese Garden" over on 2nd and Evergreen Highway, but I don't make it over there much any more. They close at 2100, and lately I haven't been getting off work until about 2230 or so!

How much MSG they use is of no major concern for me especially tonight since that is what my brother, sister in law, niece and I will be chowing tonight.

And I'm heading there now and then visit the holiday crews at the IT dept tomorrow. See ya tomorrow sometime. Merry Christmas everyone and to all a good night.

My brother, sister in law, niece and I will be chowing tonight on some pizza at my parents' house.

My mom, dad, nephew and my niece's boyfriend will be there too.
Merry Christmas everyone.

My parents' house is quiet now, but tomorrow we are going over there to eat, and I expect to see my dad playing the Pac-Man tv game we got him for Christmas, if it's not broke by then.

By then, I'll be wondering why quad gave a pac-man tv game to Daddy Quad.

Merry Christmas. Had a wonderful 4:30am trip to the airport this morning. Hey, did you guys know it's really dark at 4:30am??? 8)

Daddy Quad used to like to play Pac-Man sometimes back in the arcade days when I'd get free tokens for good grades, and lately peops have been dying off in our family and friends circles, and he's been kind of sick, so Pac-Man's supposed to keep him busy when he's sick and stuff, and remind him of a time when he wasn't as wisftul.

Hey I coulda took you to the airport at 4:30 if distance wasn't an issue. I was up, so time wasn't an issue, even though I didn't have anything to assemble this Christmas. And yeah, it was dark.
Did you opt for the grope? ;D

Wistful thoughts harken one back to the days of pacman, skeeball, and even further back to the early years of TFWG.

Quad, it wasn't me flying out. It was my brother, sister in law and niece. I'm the nice guy who got up so early to take them to the airport. Thanks for the offer though. ;D
