Fantastic word game

Searchers, Peter & Gordon and Patsy Cline combined cannot touch Olivia Newton-John for lyrical sultriness.

Yesterday, I saw someone in some article about home makeovers say they painted a room "a sultry gray." When did "gray" fall into in the "sultry" family?
 
Sultriness is a quality that describes Sarah Vaughn's style.

Sarah Vaughan's style does sound kind of sultry, but if she was in any kind of gray outfit, I'm pretty sure that would dampen the effect.

Yeah, I was pretty sure that that writer was exaggerating and talking glowingly about her choices to fill out her word count. It was someone named Candace from HGTV. She'd never make it at the FWG.
 
Dampen the effect by being way too wordy just like Miss Silkie has been in the past but hasn't been recently which means we are due for some major wordiness from our favorite librarian.


Either that or a Tasty Tidbit recipe, whichever comes first. ;)
 
Easier said than done it would be indeed, because Silkie has the advantage of sultriness, so I doubt he'd ever leave or step aside.

Not the overblown gray paint kind of sultriness either.
 
Powers of persuasion are manifest in many forms, under many disguises and they have all been tried over the decades, but we have never been overwhelmed by whatever tactics have been employed.

We keep the fun in dysfunctional.
 
Whatever tactics have been employed in the past haven't worked so we may have to discuss new and exciting things at the next TFWG Powers Of Persuasion Board Meeting.
 
The next TFWG Powers Of Persuasion Board Meeting will be an opportunity for all of us to learn some new methods and tactics but of course if those fail, you can always do what I do and resort to the use of brute force.
 
The use of brute force will prevail as I have another beer and hear 30 Seconds To Mars.

As we are now going nearly a full day with very few contributions, I am here to move us along and hopefully other contributors will follow me here before the day ends.
