Fantastic word game

Down the road of life, there are many forks and many driveways, some potholes, some rises, businesses all along the route, and up ahead it looks like someone turned over a chicken truck.
 
Fruitless endeavours are often the result of lack of initiative.

[size=8pt]Hey, I made it back. Nine hours on the roads (left just a little before 0700) and it looks here like it did in Spokane, so it's almost as if I never left. Weird how that works.
 
Lack of initiative and complacency have caused many a would be to be left behind in the dust as others move onward and upward.
 
You-know-what finally hit the fan following Charlie's latest debacle and so Two And A Half Men has shut down production for the rest of this season.
 
The FWG Magic and Circus Emporium is giving show tickets away this year on a lottery system, since the whole season is fully funded with sponsorships.

That story is common, DtotheJ. Universal in some places.
I remember delivering pizzas in the projects one Tuesday night in January. 25 degrees outside, 11pm, just after payday, and that hurdy gurdy man was raking in the bucks. There were 40 people lined up around his truck. Curiously, after their purchases, all of them must have gotten real cold, because they stuck the good humors in their coat pockets and walked back to their apartments! I've often wondered since then how their products didn't melt.
 
Chevy Chase has never been one of my favorite actors, but I must say that in Fletch he was a pretty funny character.
