Fantastic word game

A magical flying carpet was responsible for rescuing Aladdin and Abu from the cave of Wonders.

[size=8pt]And I uncovered a laserdisc of that movie at a local thrift shoppe last weekend. The memories.....

Sadly the movie loses a lot of its punch when divorced from the big screen on which I originally saw it the first 18 times around; summer of '92 sure was a fun one, that. The theatre, in which that screen once resided, was put out of business by Regal almost 11 years ago and currently functions as a church. Sad to see your favourite childhood hangout reduced to that, but I guess it's better than letting it set empty and unmaintained for decades on end.

The Cave of Wonders was a flea market and bazaar, whence we purchased the handwoven rugs in the small sitting area of the library.

Yeah, they were prolly latch hooks from the kids' craft fair, but what the heck. Here at Band Camp, we make sure that everyone feels special.

The small sitting area of the library is a peaceful sanctuary for campers looking to escape their mundane, little nerdy lives by experiencing a world of adventure found only in classic literature.

Be good enough to do Simon Templar proud, and you too may become known as one of Band Camp's most avid readers.

I love this stuff!

its = possessive (singular) it's = it is
your = opposite "mine" you're = you are
there = place their = possessive (group) they're = they are

Believe me when I say that I understand completely where you are coming from.  On the Weather Channel some weather girl was telling us, "Me and Eric are...." whatever they were fighting over - a golf club or some inane topic.  It's that garbage grammar that comes from the "me first" generation of self-esteem imbeciles.  So I ask the question again:  "Do illiterate people get the full effect of alphabet soup?" It's the reason people need Fantastic Word Game: For its educational value from those of us who use proper English.

One of band camp's most avid readers, Silkie is bringing all of us who are willing to learn up to her level.'
'
I get nutty over people using "that" as a pronoun for people ["The guy that invented Velcro..."] instead of "who," unless it's a story about a criminal or some other character who doesn't deserve "person" status. Then, it seems easier to take, but I'm sure the newsreaders don't say "criminal that raped someone..." on purpose.

Her level of expertise of linguistics and cooking is why Miss Silkie runs the Band camp library, and is the head of the Language Department and the Home Economics department at PowerWorld University.

All scarily delectable goodies are made using only the freshest ingredients but what really makes them special is the extra dose of love Miss Silkie puts into each and every batch.

Batch after batch found Miss Silkie blushing from all of the compliments, because, after all, it was well worth the effort for our band campers and camperettes and the staff, naturally.

Exotic plants are undoubedly contributing to the severe hay fever I am experiencing right now.

[size=8pt]Yesterday the boss wouldn't even let me come in to work, because he "didn't want me to make others sick as well." Yup, for real. Not an All Fools' Day joke either!

Hey, all they care is, they're not the ones who have to live paycheque to paycheque......
