Celine Dion, being such a ripoff artist as she is, would probably help her career if she covered more Olivia Newton-John hits, but then all of America would recognize that all Dion's talents are purely derivative of others.

Day in and day out here in Daytona Beach, it's been absolutely gorgeous during my entire vacation and I really wish I could just stay here permanently rather than flying home on Saturday.
 
Rather than flying home on Saturday, after having just situated ol' great mom mom Silkiepoo, who has a ball laughing and carrying on with Sweetie Pie, we shall enjoy another few days of continued Springtime.
 
Another few days of continued Springtime will be welcome, before we are hit by the full brunt of summer.

Today is supposed to be 96. At least tomorrow is supposed to be in the mid-80s.
 
The full brunt of summer with all its' heat and humidity will force us to move many summer session band camp practices indoors to the climate controlled practice bubble.
 
The coming hot days will hardly even been noticed by those practicing in the climate controlled band camp practice bubble thanks to it's proprietary air mixture but I think we should remind the maintenance staff to make sure they are extra careful with the mixture of various gases especially considering what happened a few years ago when too much oxygen in the system resulted in all the staff and students getting high.
 
High tomorrow is expected to be 95, and tomorrow night it will get up to 123 on the dance floor at Illusions Danceclub, as dmargalotti and kenrayc spin their wax and classic tracks on into the early morning hours!!!!!

The early morning hours at Illusions are filled with shrieks of laughter and good times as Divine Dave and Kenny do their thing and make the people forget about the back and forth meanderings of MarcB.


dm, I know you don't like 'Divine Dave' but I hadda get an Anyacat reference in there. Can't forget her, ya know. ;)

How to play real music at Illusions without creating a disturbance among the regulars might be a little bit of a challenge but I think we can win them over quickly if we start off the evening with something by Men Without Hats.

@ WMC, the "Divine Dave" reference is OK as long as it is in the context of remembering Anyacat.
