Fantastic word game

Work harder than you've ever worked before, and get your business up and running, so that you do not have to worry about a lottery jackpot, and then take care of the rest as it comes.

Happen upon an idea that is truly revolutionary and chances are you won't need to win the lottery to get it off the ground because others will see it's value and they will be willing to back you financially as long as you've proven yourself to be a go-getter with a tireless work ethic who will be a good steward of their moolah.

Go round and round on our beautiful carousel, donated courtesy of M.C. Illions & Sons, and you are sure to have a wonderful, nostalgic ride.

Weather conditions permit terrible things to happen, and always at the least convenient moments.

[size=8pt]The air conditioner in my room broke down last night, and it's already 82. Had to go into town earlier this morning and buy a fan. And it's supposed to get into the upper 80s and possibly lower 90s later this week, from what I hear. Ugh.

Always at the least convenient moments, or so it would seem, when we are not quite expecting it, a strange turn of events takes place and things go kaflooey, but we are pretty darned impressed by our professionals in various fields, who know how to follow the advice little old babushka silkie once offered that when life hands you lemons, start pouring tequila, honey.

I for one was quite grateful that last night was not a night for a/c breakdowns at our house.

Legal drinking age pretty much depends upon what is being drunk at the time, as root beer, lemonade and other goodies are plentiful at the lounge, where the younger band campers have been known to understand what a black cow is.

At the lounge, where the younger band campers have been known to understand what a black cow is, they have attempted to create a plan for MarcB's business but concluded that, after giving everyone at TFWG the customery hometown discount, his business doesn't have a prayer.

It takes work to bring a computer back "up to speed" after it crashed, because they're machines and machines can't think, and as such, even the most reliable computer system in the world can never be 100% reliable.

I'm at the Red Lion Indian Hills (or, rather, "Red Lion Pendleton", they're calling it now) which is actually quite a nice place--see this web page.* I'd put up the Band Campers here if there were enough extra rooms. (Definitely tops the hotel at the Wildhorse, where they're currently stationed!)

They offered me the room next to the one I was in, at no charge. It has a single bed, but it's a king-size mattress (the other room was a double-queen) so I'm not complaining. ;o)

[size=7pt] Note how it says the phones have dataports--this is just a "pass-through" to the phone line. If you plug another phone into it and have another guest with you, you could even have a conference call that way. But I just unplug the phone altogether and connect the laptop's modem straight into the line. Just helps eliminate an unnecessary link in the signal chain, making it a little more reliable.

Even the most reliable computer system in the world can never be 100% reliable which is why quadraphonic prefers that TPS Reports be prepared and submitted the old-fashion way.

The old-fashion way works for Wendy's, it works for Smith Barney (wait did they get bailed out? maybe that's the old-fashion way now?), and it's been working for the TPS Reports for years now, as long as people do not fail at their responsibilities.

As long as people do not fail at their responsibilities, there shouldn't be a problem, which is why we have a quarterly seminar on this stuff at which quad gives a presentation during which he is allowed to vent at whomever has not submitted their paperwork in a timely manner.

Which reminds me, next quarterly seminar is week after next. Darth, as the newest Board member, you are expected to be there for introductions and presentations. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
