Fantastic word game

At best, it will be a beautiful weekend here in central Massachusetts and, at worst, it will be 120 and ungodly humid around Kenny's place.

Around Kenny's place the last 3 days, the temperature has been about 85 degrees, which is unseasonably cool this time a year.

Usually mid July is the hottest time of the year, temperature in the mid 100s, which are supposed to return next weekend. even the humidity has been low this last week.

By scant portions of a second you can be beaten to the board with your contribution to TFWG so you always need to make sure you don't see that message warning you that another post has already been posted before yours and if you do, you should probably refresh the page and start all over again.

Umm Kenny, that's about 150 degrees. Really?? ::)

Start all over again and we'd be back to Page 1, four and one-half years ago, with TheDude who would eventually be complaining that we took over his game.

Palatable enough to last four-plus years, we have made internet history with the longest thread ever (I'm guessing); received many deserved honors and awards; and, taught a few lessons along the way.

For example, I've learned how to drive topless. What have you learned?

Helpful, if you listen is one of those weird ending clues, so I am simply going to say that I hope that our band campers had a wonderful time visiting on summer break, because it is always a joy to have a visit..

It is always a joy to have a visit to the main camp from the returning campers, The Lovely Olivia, and the Board of Governors and, someday, we hope to have a visit from Darth, our newest Board member.

Because Darth spends most of his time at the northwest satellite campuses.

Darth, our newest Board member, always makes incredibly valuable contributions to the cause of keeping the FWG/band camp lines of communications open.

Now, see, that is the way to leave a clue. I didn't even have to think when I lazily copied and pasted. All I had to do was remember to bold.

Keeping the FWG/Band Camp lines of communication open is actually a much more daunting task than I make it sound sometimes, especially with the digital switches these days, which not only are a royal pain to work on (you can't even juice a 5ESS without having it blow up on you!) but also have a very cold, sterile, uninviting feel to them and that's why hearing all the #5 Crossbar switch noise on my phone at work is like a breath of fresh air.

[size=8pt]Except we don't get that beautiful high-pitch "trunk whine" on there, but at least everything else is there. Right down to the poorly-isolated dialling stage! Seriously, on a busy day you can pick up your phone, flash the switch hook and hear the clanging of everybody else dialling. Something I've missed sorely in the three weeks I've been on vacation.........

........which is why I'm looking forward to going back to the office on Monday. I've had enough exposure to 5ESSes and cell phones to last me quite a while.

Hearing all the #5 Crossbar switch noise on my phone at work is like a breath of fresh air, but on the other hand we were so pleased that you visited band camp, and hope that you will be able to stay longer on future visits, as it is good to hear you without all the noise in between time.

All the noise in between time and visits makes for a daunting vacation as Darth has found out and as Miss Silkie hopes to never find out.

There ya go, Silkie, another lazy one for ya ;D

Miss Silkie hopes to never find out that our guests are unhappy, but so far we have always gotten a happy smile and warm glows, and that makes us feel good all over that we are able to have that impact.

The fun department thanks you, WMC. Lately I have had a lot of cooperation in the don't worry about trying to think about everything at once department.

To have that impact she had in Grease, The Lovely ON-J occasionally performs her concerts while wearing those famous skintight pants.
