Fantastic word game

McDonald's is uncalled for when you need some fine dining catered in, but if you're a teen with warrants popping pimples in front of one, and when the police question you you give a fake name, then run, because you have warrants and are carrying drug paraphernalia, then you smile like Shoney's/Friendly's Big Boy for your mug shot, in that case, if they shoot you you were asking for it all along.

If they shoot you you were asking for it all along but that's okay because should you be lucky enough to live, you can probably win a big bucks lawsuit against the cops that shot you and then you can blow your windfall on the junk that got you into trouble in the first place.

The annual FWG 10K, 20K, marathon, or triathlon, whichever one you choose to enter will be followed by a victory concert with Olivia Newton-John that will be free to everyone who completes their chosen course.

The FWGU web site has a post submitted by Darth_vader on his page stating very clearly that, since he's literally living paycheque-to-paycheque, that his acts of philanthropy almost exclusively consist of his time and resources, but rarely (if ever) money, in ¢a$e the IR$ are making the round$, because it'$ ex¢e$$ively ea$y to mi$lead and ¢onfu$e bureau¢rat$.

In ¢a$e the IR$ are making the round$, because it'$ ex¢e$$ively ea$y to mi$lead and ¢onfu$e bureau¢rat$, I donate my entire Game Czar salary to various charities around the world and that overall amount is zero because I do all this out of the goodness of my heart.

All together now: Awwwwwwwwwwwwww!! 8)

I do all this out of the goodness of my heart too, because, even though I am not 'rich' in the earthly sense, my message this week is on part of 1 Timothy 6, where we are encouraged to do good works not for money, but for the work itself, and so we can know that our true eternal treasures are laid up in heaven, so that we get a grasp of "that which is truly life."

Meeting with dmargalotti and quad at the weekly Band Camp Bible study group is something I look forward to all week long because it takes all the stresses away and makes me feel wicked good inside.

Wicked good inside is how many people feel when they are doing the wrong thing, but unless they replace the 'good' they felt doing wrong with actual 'good,' the bad they did to glorify themselves always comes back around to bite them.

And to think I almost used that clue for a post about Double Stuf Oreos.

To bite them right in the arse is pretty much how it turns out when people who are merely wannabes pretend to be from our band camp when really they are from nowhere but a dark, junky looking, little band camp up the road.

Up the road, on my way to visit band camp this morning, I passed dmargalotti was who jogging just outside of town as part of his training for the next PowerWorld Marathon.

I tooted my horn and waved but he was awful sweaty so he probably couldn't tell who I was. ::)

The next PowerWorld Marathon will be a little bit easier, now that we have our newfangled office all set up and just about ready to publish the next issue of Band Camp Today.

The next issue of Band Camp Today will include a disc of selected music from last month's band camp sessions, the technological, spiffified recording details of which only Darth_vader knows.

Only Darth_vader knows the more nuanced aspects of our technological organizational hierarchy, and thank heavens he knows the difference between Seattle and the town 8 miles away.

It is sooooo true that they just can't stop.

The town 8 miles away tried to steal Darth from us with a very entertaining package that, from what I've been told, required that he move there and be available on-site 24/7 but Darth won't ever leave the Northwest and everyone knows how much leeway we give him.

Everyone knows how much leeway we give him and he is eternally grateful for it, too (as a computer tech, really, you need as much leeway as you can get sometimes) even if he is in too much of a hurry to show it sometimes.

[size=8pt]Well, that gig was still in the Northwest, but it was in Gresham which meant I'd have to drive in Oregon traffic, pay Oregon gas prices, pay Oregon taxes, drink Oregon coffee, vote for Oregon politicians and live in Oregon housing. Not exactly the most optimal (or even feasible!) of working conditions. Oregon's a nice place to go for vacation (especially the rural eastern and southern parts of the state; in fact, the farther away from Portland you get the better it gets) but I wouldn't want to live and work there.

By the way, the sound on the Band Camp sampler discs was mastered on the hi-fi tracks of my VCR, in SP mode. Certainly not the most advanced of setups especiall by today's standards, but it beats having to haul Robin's tempermental 150-pound portable Tascam 8-track 1/2" reel to reel deck over there!

Even if he is in too much of a hurry to show it sometimes by means we would recognize more easily, Sweetie Pie loves all the goodies he gets, even if he also is not able to figure out what it is sometimes.
