Fantastic word game

Dave & Kenny Rock the 40s MusicFest will feature your favorites from Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, and Benny Goodman all played on the original 78 rpm records.

78 rpm records was the clue I posted sometime around 8am this morning and while I know there were some technical issues with this web site earlier today, I'm surprised (and disappointed) to see that it's still the same clue some 5 and a half hours later.

Quad, since you're in charge YOU can be the one to explain this to WMC.

5 and a half hours later I still could not believe that I was in charge.

Un;ess Silkie wants to be. I still feel kind of bad mistaking her for a he a few years back. I'm willing to share, but only because dmargalotti said it, not because WMC said it, because isn't he supposed to be out of town?
Too bad this time there was a coup before ya got back Chief! ;D

I was in charge when I handed things off to quad, then dmargalotti, then Miss Silkie, and now I'm handing things back to myself even though I'm out of town because even though Darth is next on the list, he isn't around regularly enough to supervise properly so it's back to me and we'll just pretend nothing ever happened.

I'm extremely disappointed in all of you. There'll be a 10am meeting Tuesday morning on the 8th floor following the 7am post-bandcamp-move-in meeting.

We'll just pretend nothing ever happened as we put the pieces back together and move along as best we can.

In my defense, I did make my early morning contribution as expected. Not sure what else I could have done to move things along today all by myself. I'm good...but I'm not THAT good.

We can pretend that I was in charge for awhile, since when I am in charge the only ones who even know I am in that powerful position are people who are not doing what they are supposed to do, like them what thinks that they suddenly got orders, permission or a license to start cruising past our offices for quick look sees and using the PowerWorld/shocking blue parking lot as a place to hide out/cut through.

Now that takes some chuzpah, boys and girls - or downright stupidity.

Using the PowerWorld/shocking blue parking lot as a place to hide out/cut through is not allowed and may result in a suspension or expulsion of campus driving privileges.

Campus driving privileges are for those who have demonstrated an ability to obey our two mile per hour speed limit, especially when using another's vehicle.

Abuse the privilege, and we don't care who grants you favors, or how cool you play it, you lose the privilege.

When the situation calls for it we play matchmaker, like today when we have a teeny bopper milling about Main Street crying that she wants little Michael all for herself, and since this is the Fun Department, Miss Silkie is gon' do everything possible to make sure she gets together with little Michael.

After all, who here does not know how to do that? And we here at the Fun Department are betting that it would not be the first time he got handed a leash with a new little friend.

Some people haven't been posting much today which means, with only 4 (now 5) posts for the day, it will take a bit longer than forever and a day to get to Page 10,000.

Get to Page 10,000 by 2041 by taking care of those important little things like setting up a teeny bopper rendezvous here and there was what we thought, but now in addition to little Michael the poor, sickly thing wants Tom and Dick too, and we shall see whether she also takes a shine to Harry.

Harry Anderson is an actor that played Judge Harry T. Stone on Night Court and made many appearances as a jokester on Cheers.

He liked to do tricks as both characters in both shows.

Streaming only is the only way to hear a Oldies station in the valley, as the last station to play them flipped to a Hot AC format playing heavy rotations of Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.

We still have 3 Classic Rock stations, one which plays 80s Classic Metal and Hair Bands, it's the 60s and the mainstream 70s that are gone.
