On PBS, you might find Quad's World or Mr. Dmargalotti's Neighborhood, both of which are specialty programs filled with ellipses and 80s music.

Programming a radio station must be a lot harder than it was in the days of WKRP, because these days, it's all run by computers.

Sounds of crickets* Come on crainbebo, post yourself some more posts! All the rest o' yall too! "Middle of the night" is no reason!
 
All ran by computers is like how the music is programmmed and many big corporate radio companies, many that begin with the letter "C", that are now central hubbing DJ's and music, taking away what used to be local radio.
 
When you're crunching numbers please don't lose sight of the fact that there are real people with real lives and real families who may be negatively affected when you decide to save a buck or two.
 
Flo the Progressive Insurance Wench will someday be sent to the advertising icon retirement home where she will spend her days with the likes of the Maytag Repairman, Fred the Baker, and Mr. Whipple.
 
The Maytag Repairman, Fred the Baker, and Mr. Whipple all spend heavenly time with Dave Thomas from Wendy's, Rosie "Bounty, the quicker picker upper" the waitress, Madge the manicurist, and the dog from Taco Bell.
 
Dave Thomas from Wendy's, Rosie "Bounty, the quicker picker upper" the waitress, Madge the manicurist, and the dog from Taco Bell were last seen hanging out with the old lady who got famous for asking "where's the beef".
 
"Where's the beef" asked the man with the gun, and we couldn't tell if he was really looking for some kind of beef fix, or just making a very ill-advised, 7-year-mandatory joke.
 
New topics for discussion seem to have arisen over the past couple of pages, so I must catch up, but we wanted to live up to the rep, ever since the day that the announcement was made that it was hump day, 4,612 times in about three minutes, when we decided to take a day off.
 
To take a day off, please complete a vacation request form at least one month prior to your planned day off and arrange with your department head for the appropriate coverage in your absence.
