Fantastic word game

The Band Camp Preservation Society is particularly pleased with preserving our home heritage, so that campers who have been on the move for a generation may return home, as well, of course, to the preservation of our library and archives, to restore to our campers fond memories of their happiness and solace, warmth, comfort and safety.

Their happiness and solace, warmth, comfort and safety are always heightened the moment children view the FWG's Christmas Lights Mile, which opens up this year's display schedule tonight.

Far, far away is where I'd like to be but, unfortunately, I work in retail stores but, fortunately, they are grocery stores, so you don't get the stupidity of Black Friday shoppers.

Pamplona's running of the bulls sounds like something that might be entertained by our late dear friend Anyacat who we lost a year ago today even though we didn't it yet at the time.

Let's have a moment of silence in Anyacat's memory.

"Even though we didn't it yet at the time" looks like an incomplete sentence, so I'm going to assume you forgot to put the "know" in there, and I'm going to remove the "yet" because that'd be redundant, thus making it "even though we didn't know it at the time".

[size=8pt]Has it been a year already? Jeez, doesn't seem like it.

Oh, and quad, the Physics department's Astronomy lab acquired a "new-ish" DEC 3100-98 a couple weeks ago and guess what they're naming the new baby?

.......waaaaaait for it.............

univax!! Just got the memo to-day that was issued on Wednesday. As it stands this new addition's #4 for Physdep. So I guess I know what my work at the University will be this weekend. (Oh, and Bruce didn't burn down the Computer Centre yesterday. Thankfully...)

Even though we didn't know it at the time, our local PBS station was preparing a New Year's Eve marathon featuring the best of Globe Trekker with Megan McCormick.

Rest in peace, Anyacat...you were the only one who could get away with calling me "Divine Dave". :)

The best of Globe Trekker with Megan McCormick would be new to me since I've never seen the show so I'm wondering if that show ever included any topless driving.

Thanks Darth, forgot the 'know', thanks for picking that up.

Topless driving this time of the year would tend to give one an earache, to say nothing of freezing the tatas, which would be shaken, not stirred.

Rest in peace, Anyacat; and may every power company in the country get rejection notices on rate hike requests, while being fined for every power surge they cause resulting in artificial usage, or power outages that lasts longer than it takes for one's home to go cold in the winter or to get too hot in the summer. I too am thankful for the little that I have and don't want (heard that last night, and I loved it instantly), and even more thankful that I am in nobody's pocket, because those are the actions that I would take. You think Serpico had problems? Imagine what they would do if anyone blew the whistle on getting their cut for raking the customer over the coals or killing them with their negligence and reckless disregard.

Shaken, not stirred, and get down with your own bad selves at tonight's Dave & Kenny's 80s Rockfest at Illusions especially if you are tired of the various radio stations that have gone all-Christmas for several weeks.

Hey, dmargalotti, did your radio station go all Christmas? Or, if it hasn't, will it? And what do YOU think of that several week format?

For several weeks 4 of my local radio stations have been running an all Christmas format , 3 are AC stations and one is "A Country Christmas".

We are rockin' tonight and the crowd is going crazy for the great hits and the mechanical bull is in full gear.

"A Country Christmas" minus the country music reminds us of a time when people knew how to Christmas, riding through town, singing Christmas carols from their wreathed and ribboned hay carts, drawn by horses donning bells and Christmas saddle blankets.

To be the first post of the day in our home would require a 4:00 a.m. rise time because of the many chores Miss Kitty requires us to complete each morning; breakfast ("feeeeeed meeeeee"), turn on TV (draw the blinds so that she can sit in the window and watch the show - why not, as long as the sun turned on the lights) and, of late, before turning on her television, we must turn on the computer (and, of course, we have discovered that she does not just want the computer turned on, but she wants the music to play, as she circles impatiently until the music turns on, at which time she proceeds to the window nearest the sound.

Horses donning bells and Christmas saddle blankets sure sounds wintery and Christmasy but I'd be perfectly happy to avoid the wintery part and see some hot bikini chicks riding atop those horses.

6 days until our 5th anniversary.

Atop those horses Santa Claus carries with him a traditional 5th anniversary gift, a wooden soldier.

Yeah, modern day is silver, but as far as I am concerned people can just earn the silver by learning to weather the storms as well as maintain harmony and keep the warm home fires burning to make it to twenty-five.

Our game and Illusions, rockin' with Kenny and dmargalotti, have outlasted many a modern day marriage, and the game has only been 4 years 360 days, while the hits spinning at Illusions with Kenny and dmargalotti have been less than a year.
