Fantastic word game

Less than a year has passed since less than a year ago which means there is less than a year to go before this time yesterday.

Before this time yesterday I was home getting ready for church and enjoying my one day off from work.

WMC, thanks for asking about my radio station. But it's a little hard to go all Christmas when you run a talk station. ;)

Work for many people today will involve shopping online at their work stations to take advantage of Cyber Monday.

Darth and the IT crew have their cameras at the ready to catch any employees wasting too much company time shopping.

dmargalotti, oh I don't know, I suppose you could program a talk station to have all the 'talkers' singing Christmas songs from now through Christmas. :D

At different times throughout the day, the library interns can be found hard at working making sure all checked items are returned to their proper places according to the Dewey Decimal System.

According to the Dewey Decimal System any post on TFWG (of The FWG as some prefer) that goes more than four hours without a reply is fair game and can therefore be replied to by the original poster.

Poster board is not quite strong enough to use to construct our groovy thing this year, so the lounge called the liquor supplier, who brought in a whole package of five unsealed, corrugated boxes.

So if anybody has four wine case sized gifts to give away, we have four extra boxes, but you have to put them together.

Five unsealed, corrugated boxes are available at the library if anyone needs them to ship gifts to friends and family.

5 days until our 5th Anniversary. I hear that the office staff at Radio-Info HQ has already started putting up streamers. I also hear through the grapevine they are trying to get Dave and Kenny to do their 80s thing at their upcoming Christmas luncheon. Those Radio-Info staffers know how to boogie!

Taking the liberty, dmargalotti:

The sudden drop off in contributions is partially attributable to the sudden failure of wgnet's Internet gateway node "george" last weekend, causing me to reroute all the University's Internet traffic onto p-w-03's already-overloaded gateway node "paul", but be assured we're trying to get things back to "normal".

[size=8pt]First the hard drive/RAID controller in that old Z-10 box croaked, then the CPU board overheated and self-destructed (faulty power supply, I think.) Nothing like a service outage to remind one of just how "reliable" present-day IBM equipment really is. I'm surprised I was able to get on just now...

@D^J~
"Friends and Family" was actually an MCI thing, not AT&T. AT&T might have had something like it at some point but it's not the one you're thinking of.

Be assured we are trying to get things back to "normal", as we work on our groovy thing, but as normal people know, getting right back to where we started from does not mean the post-starting-point emotionally underdeveloped, sick dysfunction that gets handed off, but having our groovy thing restored to its original integrity, as time goes by.

"As Time Goes By" was a British situational comedy programme produced by the BBC throughout the 1990s, starring Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer, and the reruns still air in the morning on the secondary video channel of OPB.

[size=8pt]Typically 1130h on Tuesday and Thursday, channel 10-02 around these parts.

Remember, "PBS" really stands for "Primarily British Shows", but of course they won't tell you that.

The secondary video channel of OPB is BBC, but OPB is the secondary video channel of BCB (Band Camp Broadcasting), which is primary because we slap down all other PBS stations by virtue of our enormous ratings, and the only reason we keep OPB around is because the boys like Megan McCormick.

That's alright with me too, except that the sentence structure does appear to be somewhat strange, given the opening clu at the end.

Given the opening clu (or clue?) at the end, I feel the sentence structure is ok but you may disagree and that's alright with you.
