Fantastic word game

The ones who conquered and stood were the ones who had bigger balls, looked you in the eye and spoke.

Oh no, not you too, Miss Silkie--

The ones who had bigger balls, looked you in the eye and spoke thinking they were "man enough" more than they really were, although when they were finished they were brought down to size by the very sight of my ominous 6' 8" * 320lb. frame, and if they still felt the need to flap their big mouths off they ended up taking the business end of a size 16 cowboy boot directly to the fanny.

[size=8pt]Yes, those measurements really are correct. Yes, in real life. No, most other people can't seem to believe it, either. Darth Vader himself was quite tall as well, you may recall; no, it wasn't just because of the massive size of the Silver Screen. David Prowse has similar measurements to mine, having been a bodybuilder in his younger years.

Taking the business end of a size 16 cowboy boot directly to the fanny back in the days of my youth would have been considered an acceptable form of discipline but in today's world some would consider it to be a form of child abuse but that's okay because personally I think if kids were better disciplined today they would be more inclined to put down the video games and make meaningful early morning contributions to TFWG (or The FWG as some prefer) on this, it's 5th anniversary!

Happy #5 boys & girls!!!!!!

Meaningful early morning contributions to TFWG (or The FWG as some prefer) on this, it's 5th anniversary is a well-balanced way to start the day and we hope that all contributors, past and present, spend a few moments reflecting on how they helped shape the world and Radio-Info.

While this is a happy day, I still have to be Game Czar for a moment and point out that Darth used the wrong clue (he should have used 'face to face, eyeball to eyeball) but today there are are no timeouts and no demerits.

Miss Silkie, thanks for thinking of me in that earlier post. ;)

Still waiting for the big Radio-Info congratulatory message. The staff must be sleeping in this morning. If it doesn't come, I noticed yesterday that I still have last year's congrats/4th anniversary message so I can always post that if necessary. ;D

The world and Radio-Info would like to remind our esteemed Game Czar that he too is required to bold his ending clue in accordance with the game rules he so dutifully enforces but since this is a day of joy and celebration, we will just assume that he was caught up in the moment and so we will let it slide this time.

This time of celebration is a time to forgive an infraction such as those we have seen this morning.

Sheesh! dmargalotti beat me to the punch.

The world and Radio-Info have forgotten all about us, just as a certain game czar forgot to use the bold feature, but again, we will let that slide, just as we will let slide the fact that the business end of a size 16 cowboy boot would think twice before lifting it to his rather petite, 5'0" mama who stood tall and conquered when all was said and done.

Ahhh, the good old days, when your humble librarian, with a degree in criminal justice and forensic science wanted to work in the crime lab, but had to be a police officer first. There was no weight in proportion to height business. You were either 5'9" or you didn't get in; and it was set in stone. When the very, very tall, quite hefty head of personnel heard a petite little voice ask, "If you were a criminal, sir, would you rather be punched in the mouth or bitten on the balls?", there was, needless to say, a pret-ty big flap over it, especially after your humble librarian had already proven herself crazy by theorizing that one day the genetic code would be used to solve crimes. These days we see all the little chihuahuas in their crisp uniforms, going after the behemoths. Miss Silkie knows their secret to taking them down, thus proving that both of my theories were correct.

This morning, I made a grievous error while policing everyone else so here I sit red-faced while waiting for the world to congratulate us.

Apparently, while we are here 24/7, the good folks at R-I take the weekend off. Perhaps the celebration will happen on Monday.

In the spirit of celebration, this was Managing Board Editor's 4th anniversary congratulatory message to several of us last year:

Hi Everyone,

We have not let the fourth anniversary of the "Fantastic Word Game" go by unnoticed. We would post our congratulations on the thread itself but we also don't want to risk disrupting the game. Check out the announcement I've posted on our "Announcements" board. We haven't forgotten you and we appreciate your continued use of the site.

Please have a great holiday season and may the New Year be much better than the last.

Best wishes,

The staff of Radio-Info.com

P.S. Due to the sheer numbers of participants, I regret that I can't send this to everyone who has posted on the thread. Time constraints limit me to sending this to only the most recent posters. Feel free to pass on our well wishes to any active players of the game who I might have missed

Waiting for the world to congratulate us is probably not a good idea, because then we would not be on time, but as you know Fred Flintstone, Barney Rubble and the boys sang us a lovely little song, and may I say that you boys of FWG who are married are good husbands for rememberding anniversaries, and those who are not yet will make wonderful husbands someday.

Sweetie Pie saw the feast being prepared for our anniversary, put on his hat and sunglasses, grabbed the keys and made a beeline for the door. Since I was almost finished with our preparations, and the boys had the tables all set up, I let them finish with that, while I stepped down from the step stool, which as you all know is Sweetie Pie's wallet, and went out junk sale-ing and shopping. That'll learn him, dern him.

Someday, we will have a weekend whereby lots of people contribute instead of just a couple of people and I hope that happens soon so we can celebrate 4000 pages at this time next year.

4000 pages at this time next year would be more than a weekend - at least 2-1/2 pages per day, and at this time of the year that is simply out of the question, with Chanukkah and Christmas, services for that extra blessing for another week of strength.

We made okay time getting to the second 1000 in less than three years, which is more than we can say for the first 1000, so it appears we are moving along at a better pace...and I have no doubt that we will make it just fine.

Miss Silkie and the rest of us are getting some shuteye as another week is upon us and, pretty soon, dmargalotti will be entering the room with our favorite way to start the day.

Everyday with Megan McCormick is a healthy adventure, and since everyone has been so attentive, the fun department has made arrangements for the entire band camp to go to the upcoming Olivia Newton-John concert.

The upcoming Olivia Newton-John concert is sure to put everyone in a festive mood and may even draw quadraphonic out of his computerless coccoon.

His computerless coccoon is more like an exile from technology and if this situation continues for the foreseeable future, we may have to take matters into our own hands and take up a collection to buy a new computer for the quadraphonics.

I'm sure Darth can come up with a few affordable suggestions.

The quadraphonics will be performing live at Illusions, while dave and kenny cover the breaks and tip a few.

Okay, we try to run a sane ship around here. I will attempt to remain calm after laughing so hard I had to change my clothes. Some guy from Nigeria called, said his name was Justin and wanted to know the prices of every conceivable product or service we might be able to provide.
