Fantastic word game

Newspaper writers are falling off by the sheath lately, but I would still like to put that, or "furniture dealer" or "scholar, bon vivant, raconteur" on my next business card.
 
My next business card handout is sure to be the one that has them beating down the doors to the library; and may I be the first to welcome fairchild, who knew the rules and prevented the listing of malarky from you know who.
 
The listing of malarky from you know who will probably commence again soon, because isn't he on one of those Florida girl-watching vacations?

Yes, indeed, welcome fairchild. I noticed the new guy (or is it girl, some of us have made that mistake before, so I'll not assume), and then breezed through so quickly I dispensed with what I started off intending to do, but which I just did, and I'll do it again: "WELCOME!"
 
Vacations occur on occasion, quad, but, no, I am not on vacation but, indeed, working at home preparing for another exciting week at band camp and PowerWorld.


Welcome, fairchild, to our little world. Seems you already know the few rules we have but, since Silkie loves them so much, I'll recite then anyway:

-Your contribution must be ONE sentence and ONE sentence only, not part of a setence, not two sentences or more.
-Your contribution should be a well-constructed, properly grammatized sentence with minimal (preferably none at all) use of semi-colons or ellipses.
-Please begin your contribution using the entire bolded ending clue from the previous contribution and also please bold your new ending clue. Clues in CAPITAL LETTERS will be accepted if you are unable to bold your clue.

Another exciting week at band camp and PowerWorld will start first thing in the morning, but for now, it's time to watch the NFC Championship game between The NY Giants and The 49er's
 
The NFC Championship game between The NY Giants and The 49er's was not watched by me because I just don't care although I do know the Patriots are going to the Superbowl and no other team stands a chance against them.
 
Happy birthday wishes like that one from Dave are always appreciated, and they don't have to come with some monetary compensation for my increasingly aged youthfulness, but when they do, it's all the better.
 
The better the party for quadraphonic, the bigger the turnout of campers.

Please don't forget your invitations; they will be needed to get in.
 
A 'scene' in which quad receives birthday greetings from Olivia and Megan is really something I'd love to see.

I'd also love to see the look on Mrs. quad's face when that happens!
 
I'd love to see my formerly favourite haunt, the Cascade Park 4 movie theatre, be brought back to life as such, but given the intense remodelling it's undergone lately at the hands of the current church group occupying it, it doesn't look like that's ever going to happen.

[size=8pt]I had the opportunity to see it last Saturday. Sure looks nice, yeah, but with this remodel, and that which the previous church group had done, it's probably too far gone to ever function as a cinema again. Oh well.
 
It doesn't look like that's ever going to happen, but it never hurts to ask, because you might not really be much surprised to see what might be running on the big screen.
