Fantastic word game

The big screen adaptation of quad's life is currently in pre-production but it has experienced several delays because, while pretty much anyone can play quad, not everyone can do a TPS Report.

Some of the most popular actors in the industry have pulled out of this project because TPS Reports can be difficult to comprehend. Happy Birthday quad!

Not everyone can do a TPS report, and with other important duties and so many publications to get out of the library to so many places, few people here even do a TPS report anymore.

A TPS report anymore than the length found in your handbooks will not be accepted, even in .pdf format, unless you're Silkie, Megan McCormick, or Olivia Newton-John, in which cases anything goes!

Thanks for the wishes wmc. So far, it looks like Jon Cusack or Ron Livingston are the only celebs who can hang with the TPS Reports and the rest of the general quadness-related requirements.

Anything goes that's required to make a system work and prevent outages, even when other events are going on in the computer centre (read below) because this boy scout was always taught to be prepared.

[size=8pt]The final stage of the computer centre's remodelling (i.e. the long-awaited expansion of the user area into the long-vacated classroom #129) is nigh upon us, somewhat earlier than we expected and on really short notice. For the duration of renovating we will be unable to use 130/141 at all. My guess is it will take about two weeks, but we have very little control over this.

During this period we will be operating as best we can from a temporary outpost across the hallway in the library and adjoining Lecture Hall #12. We will be shutting down guvax and dxclpdpx on Wednesday night for the move to LH12. The outpost won't include the wgzoo equipment or the magtape reader. I am *hoping* we can still provide normal service on our ethernet/telnet nodes. We will probably need both Thursday and Friday to complete the move, so there probably will be no BSD or TOPS20 service during this time. Limited service from LH12 will start whenever we're done moving the equipment; at the end of renovation, there will be another short interruption whilst we move everything back.

Routers and cables (cat5 & coaxial) will be available to connect a decent number of terminals in LH12, so anyone who wants to loan us their private terminal for use as a public terminal during this period will have priority over its use.

Oh, and happy boithday, quad!

No worries here at the library, where we stand on hard data, soft data and solid footing, thanks to our good friends in the IT department.

Things happen in the IT Dept. that no one but Darth can explain which makes me wonder if, on occasion, those things are made to happen because they just don't have enough to do down there.

Of course, I'm kidding. There's no one more important than the good folks in IT. ;D

Down there on the corner, the gang pitched all their quarters and baseball cards until they had none, so we went behind them and collected them all to put toward the band camp dinner banquet.

Bull riding will commence immediately following the presentation of band camp honor badges.

The phone here at FWG has been ringing off the hook with congratulations.

Honor badges must be properly displayed on the upper right sleeve of your band camp uniform.

Your band camp handbook has several illustrations showing how to properly display your honor badges. Please check the handbook before asking your counselors and group leaders for assistance.

What makes the FWG great, in addition to all else, is the efficiency of our library interns in passing information along to our camp patrons.

Your FWGphones have a duty roster, but the library has prepared other calls and e-mails to pass along, so we shall have to beg off this weekend.
