At all of Silkie and Sweetie Pie's parties I've been to, they serve this delicious spinach dip, and during the sterling conversations that follow for hours, the conversation is so engrossing that no one really notices if you have spinach in your teeth.

Both The Lovely Olivia and Megan were supposed to be roaming around the band camp campus today and then attending a publicity meeting but I was away from the building on other business so I don't know if either or both showed up.

If either or both showed up, there wouldn't have been much fanfare, because that's just how we do things here, but there would have been a palpable buzz.

A palpable buzz was not heard around campus yesterday so I'm assuming they were a no-show however it is possible we got the date wrong and they could make an appearance later today.

Later today, Punxsatawney Phil, much like the New York Yankees in the postseason, will make his annual appearance.

Annual appearance fees for Megan McCormick are actually quite reasonable compared to what some other celebrities expect to receive.

Some other celebrities expect to receive such perks as a barrel full of blue m&m's, but usually when they require such frivolities, it makes it easier to not sign that contract.
