Fantastic word game

Immediate family members of strangers are often the topic of empty conversation when gypsies, tramps and thieves make a run through the cornfield playing, "guess that conversation" with people who don't even know they're there.

People who don't even know they're there apparently set some sort of record on Facebook for the most comments made to a thread which makes me think that someone (preferably the Game Czar) needs to bring TFWG (or The FWG as some prefer) to the attention of the record keepers at Guinness.

http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2012/02/01/group-sets-new-guinness-world-record-for-most-facebook-posts/

The record keepers at Guinness have been very busy in recent months..... :D

Recent months have brought cooler weather to our fair PowerWorld city which, unfortunately, means that the lovely library interns are covered up a bit more than usual.

But too much more.

Ya know, I bet the Guiness people would be verrrrrrry interested in looking at a thread with over 2000 pages. There can't be too many of those in the world.

A bit more than usual posting seems to have gone on today, but we need to step it up if we're going to set any records.

I for one would give up my job if we could monetize this thing officially.

My turntable from the 70's still works if you manually hold the needle above the groove in the record.

The record for most hours on the air is hosted by Regis Philbin.... :D

Regis Philbin would sound great calling a Super Bowl.

Andrea, honey... this is the one thread where previous posts shouldn't be quoted, since we are already replying to the last one in the first place... (Though IMHO, other folks really shouldn't be doing it in other threads...) Food for thought. ;)

Super Bowl tickets are more expensive than front row seats at an Olivia Newton-John concert and as much as I love football, that's just something I can't understand.

My last contribution to The FWG will occur just before I die or before it's the end of the world as we know it.

Time to get ready for a rock n' roll weekend, and I'm going to play that REM song in the clue.

It's the end of the world as we know it if this thread ever goes to thread heaven because, at that point, I would have no reason to continue visiting this site.

DTTJ, our friend andrea marches to the beat of her own drummer. She'll pretty much do what she wants which is kind of ok because it's just nice to have her back even if it's an occasional visit. She'll keep doing what she's doing for a couple more weeks, then she'll stop visiting for a few months until we decide someone needs to track her down again and beg her to come back. It's all a game. :D

This site rocks harder than the Super Bowl Halftime show will.
The Super Bowl Halftime will feature one of the goddesses of music, Madonna, this year, and I hope next year our lovely Olivia Newton-John, our goddess of music, will be there.

I hope next year our lovely Olivia Newton-John, our goddess of music, will be there because that would really give the ratings a boost and make most people completely forget about the game being played on the field.

Y'all best wipe your boots on the floor-mat before leaving the computer centre, because it's pretty dirty in there right now.

[size=8pt]Finished knocking out the wall between 129 and 130, now hauling the broken bricks out of there and redoing room 129 is in order. Construction (destruction?) began on 27 January and is forecast to continue until at least 17 February. Then we can move everything back in there from LH12, set up the six-dozen new terminals that are on requisition and open it up to the University.

Mess around without first reading the instructions, and you're either liable to experience malfunction or somebody's liable to get hurt.

[size=8pt]Actually the contractors cleaned up most of the big stuff. I spent part of last evening vacuuming up the dust and picking up smaller chunks of brick after they left, because of course it'd co$t extra if they were to do it!
