Fantastic word game

Come back around when you are done with your other stuff because we need to pick up the slack and get ourselves moving again.

Hey gang, there's a thread here on Off The Air called Things That Annoy You. Someone (jfrancispatrick) mentioned this thread as something that annoys him. I, of course, had to respond to that. You guys should visit that thread as well. Maybe we should just take it over. :D

Get ourselves moving again is what we do after every brief time away.

Same dude mentioned the FWG early on in that thread. Said he'd rather have his teeth cleaned or his tongue scraped (I think it was, too lazy to research it) than participate. I'd hate to be his next dental hygienist or heart doctor. :D

Brief time away from the city can do one's psyche a world of good.

[size=8pt]The magtape continues to give over-run errors, although there is a strong correlation between the problem rate and guvax's load--it is possible to get flawless reads when things are quiet. The whole TE16 unit, power supply issues notwithstanding (or are they?) is extremely old as such things go and, frankly, was poorly designed to begin with.

The result is a very demanding device that absolutely must have immediate response from the host computer at all times. This is almost impossible to guarantee in a timesharing system. Looking through some of Deek's research notebooks from 30 years ago reveals a lot: even the people who originally implemented the magtape system had all kinds of trouble getting it to behave. The problems appear to have gotten progressively worse with the internal rearrangements of 4.3BSD-Reno Net2 compared to the old 3BSD distro they had to work with back then, sooooo...

I'm going to try rooting one of the unused Zoology department KL50's this weekend and sticking the magtape on it, where it can have the full attention of that box. The details of this, especially the transfer of data to/from guvax, have yet to be worked out (probably end up being one of the most bloody insane things this Sysop will ever do, but hey, let's live dangerously.) More on this sometime next week.

And can anybody tell me who started that "Things that Annoy You" thread? Hint: it wasn't jfrancispastirchak, although the way he's been going on you'd almost think he had...

Ever since dmargalotti was born, he knew he was destined to travel the world and open band camps.

Darth, yes, that was you who started that Annoy thread. Well done. ;D

Megan McCormick is more interested in her professional pursuits and not so interested in the trash of skank club with their daily briefings of all things BS, all the while still clueless about what constitutes strength.

In the 80s a guy by the name of darth_vader listed a few things that annoyed him, while Sweetie Pie and I spent long hours working on items of paramount importance.

Salacious rants and other arousal techniques might get the wet blanket treatment when eazy sleazies have to search around and then find ways to announce which house will be used for the next tryst.

It would appear that Edna St. Vincent Millay has been quite misconstrued when it comes to the perception of success by some. Edna St. Vincent Millay is known worldwide for her incredible intellect, unlike some who are barely known as little more than being publicly eazy and sleazy, skulking, slinking and stalking about. It comes from an immaturity of the soul, spirit and emotion that cannot seem to look beyond hooking something with which to have sex.

The next tryst between quad and dmargalotti in the Executive Board Arm Wrestling Weekend will occur tomorrow afternoon at high noon.

Tomorrow afternoon at high noon I will probably defer the title to dmargalotti, because I am a lover, not a fighter.

In fact, I'm working on my concession speech tonight. It's going to be an extended haiku. Mix tape will be available from my trunk Sunday night at Illusions parking lot.

The fact that I would rather turn than fight is also borne out by the fact that I'm only obliquely mentioning WMC's gross misuse of the word "tryst." :D

A fighter in spirit only, quad refused to meet dmargalotti in the arm wrestling ring because it would not be conducive to meeting his lifelong pastoral needs.

Topless driving is okay anytime and especially this weekend as the high temperature is going to be 77 degrees today.

Here in Central CA we're going to have a Winter "Heat Wave" this weekend, perfect for topless driving and a trip to the nearest lake.

The high temperature is going to be 77 degrees today which is much warmer than our weather here on the east coast so maybe Kenny can do me a favor and send some sunshine and warm weather my way.
