Fantastic word game

Oldies76, we certainly appreciate your contribution. However, the one main rule we have here is you can use one sentence and one sentence only. So, as Game Czar, I shall make the exective decision to combine the two sentences as


"Samantha Brown of The Travel Channel is a legend as are many radio personalities."

And I shall follow with:


Many radio personalities have come and gone over the last 5 years but we are still here with no signs of slowing down.


Again, the new clue is 'slowing down'.
 
Slowing down for a moment to remind someone that a few mere posts ago, in another location he noted that TheDude left because he was inflexible.

Welcome aboard Oldies76...assuming you are willing to return.
 
Because he was inflexible and unwilling to adapt to change, TheDude finally realized he was beaten and he left to play with himself.

Now Miss Silkie, what I said was that the game had changed and TheDude didn't change with it. Now, if you want to change again and start allowing two sentences, or paragraphs, or short stories, or entire novels, we can talk about that. ;D

Polite society would care to know about not much that comes on tv these days, since it's all just yelling and posturing and whooping and hollering, except for "Globe Trekker," a show that makes up for all the dark side of television by bringing us Megan McCormick on a regular basis.
 
A day without The FWG (or TFWG as some prefer) means I'll be beaching it in sunny Florida next week while dmargalotti holds down the corner office and does his international band camp directing by phone.
 
By phone is how viewers cast their votes for the next American Idol.

Hey WMC...you don't mind if a do a little remodeling and rearranging in the corner office next week while you're on vacation, do you?
 
Olivia Newton-John is going to someday learn that she is a fan favorite here at The FWG (or TWFG as some prefer) and when that happens, I bet she joins Radio-Info.com just so she can make a post or two.
 
Two Guys used to be a department store chain, but the term also identifies at least the number of guys we have observed following a bum steer, only to get mad at us when it turned out to be a ruse.

It was kind of a Domino effect; the first guy figured out that he got scammed by a troublesome meddling type. Then he told everyone what happened, but a second guy thought he was being sent to the same place by the first guy. And all the little "family" jumps in to the rescue of their little imp.
 
A jam on the turnpike will keep you from getting to your destination but nothing will keep me from going on vacation unless another airline decides to suspend operations.

Mr. IDBC, I don't mind so much if you redecorate the corner office as long as, once I'm back, you make sure to take your collection of private videotapes with you rather than leaving them like you did last time. Ok?? ;D
 
Questionable doctor playing pranks on his staff and patients is what House likes to do, but at the end he comes up with the answer.
 
He comes up with the answer, eventually, despite his drug-addled mind and unpleasant demeanor, but he wouldn't have to rely on drugs to make himself happy if he just watched Megan McCormick on "Globe Trekker".
 
Megan McCormick on "Globe Trekker" last night was in some African country and while I was watching the show, I kept thinking about how great it would be if she would come visit my part of New Jersey.
