Fantastic word game

The end of the year will bring us to our 6th anniversary but that's a long ways away and we still have lots of contributions to go.

Lots of contributions to go will get accomplished by the power of us and the super-k00l 0ld-sk00l mainframe equipment in 141, and even though it's technically not allowed, artificially inflating the post count with non-construct posts does still help push us ever closer to our ultimate goal of 10 000 pages, you have to admit.

[size=8pt]We'll hopefully let that mess-up slide this time, oldies76, but in the future please put comments or replies to them at the end of your follow-up, within the same post like I'm doing here, or like dmargalotti did in his post above. I think oblique or italic type is actually the "official" standard for comments but enforcement is extremely lax. At least, nobody seems to have ever had any problem with me using 8-point regular type, like this.

Our ultimate goal of 10,000 pages, you have to admit is certainly as attainable as bringing a polarizing NFL quarterback under the same roof as foulmouthed, foot-loving coach Rex Ryan.

Anybody who doesn't think Megan McCormick and Olivia Newton-John are two of the most beautiful women on the planet needs to get their eyes checked and their head examined.

All night 80's jams would be mixed with early 90's country if it were played at Illusions.

My bad, DM - Illusions is a hot ticket in FWG! ;)

All night 80s jams are always a big success, especially with the younger kids who only know about the decade from what they see on TV and in the movies.

Dang...thanks, D

At Illusions, the drinks will flow, the blood will spill and if the boys want you fight, you'd better let them.

Coupon searching, clipping and saving of even the cheeziest, sleaziest of bait shop coupons is a favorite pasttime of some of the more savvy among us.

hmph hmph hmph

Some of the more savvy among us remember the early days of TFWG (as I prefer) and those who don't are more than welcome to peruse 2100 or so pages of thrilling archives.

2100 or so pages of thrilling archives (which is actually closer to 2200 now) would be enough new material to keep a TV show based on our exploits on the air longer than Gunsmoke!

Gunsmoke ran for 20 years on television, plus 9 years on the radio, and I have no doubt that this thread will still be going strong in 20 years although perhaps headed by the next generation of TFWG (as I prefer) executive board members.

" The next generation of TFWG (as I prefer) executive board members," is how WMC ended his last post, which would have been longer, but he got distracted by a pre-conclusion glimpse of bikinis outside his window.
