Fantastic word game

I might be mistaken but from where I sit (which is NOT WMC's corner office anymore) it sure looks like we're seeing a slight uptick in productivity thanks to contributions from a few newbies.
 
A few newbies actually came back around after the standard lecture from you know who.

RadioPhillyFan, another of our little rules is that we take it with a grain of salt and let it roll, baby, roll, because it takes up space to allow for the appearance of more progress (kind of like a kid playing with dinner to make it look eaten), while the lecturer criticizes the concept.

Now that the pleasantries are dispensed with, since the rattletrap down the street is booked for a private party of strictly close friends and family of the stars (it's all the band camp fire marshall allows), the library is having an open house for parents of new members, in order to familiarize them with the various amenities of our little camp. There will be wine, cocktails and light fare from the lounge. The kiddies can crash in the library children's room.
 
His old grumpy ways were proven to be his downfall.

A classic Greek tragedy resembles a peak of tension polygraph test, with the increasing lead up to the crash, higher and higher with the wax wings.

Man, oh man, I'm still cryin' over poor Icarus. All that time poring over and making hay of papa's material, and just never got the whole idea. Tragic, I tell you!
 
The wax wings of an eagle in the Hollywood wax museum is not too far from many radio stations in Los Angeles.
 
Los Angeles is the homebase of radio/tv hotshot Ryan Seacrest although he seems to be pretty much everywhere you look.

Everywhere you look love is in the air, but then so is the occasional faking the horny side pig who swears that that was definitely an unmistakable message - direct and filtered through all associates - to find any reason to meet at a seedy hotel.
 
A seedy hotel might be all some people can afford after spending hundreds of dollars to end up winning nothing in the 640 million dollar lottery drawing.

Didn't win, not even a buck (spent 10 bucks), so I'll see you all Monday morning.
 
On your lucky Lottery ticket you made a $4 profit, which is a pretty good day when you consider the alternative according to Shirley Jackson.
 
Shirley Jackson was in my class in the 3rd grade, but I know it's not the one Silkie is talking about.


Shirley must have moved away by the 4th grade, never seen her again, from a 3rd grader point of view she was hot.
 
Fondly remembered by all band campers, Greta Garbo made quite an impression during the early years.

We go back quite a ways. ;D
 
The early years were a pass for some who were shielded until the top bananas made sure that the smart alecs told everyone far and wide that they were on their own.
 
Their own ideas are accepted in the PowerWorld University film class so as to encourage individuality and expressionism.
 
Individuality and expressionism are obvious traits in all of Philip Glass' works, minimal though they may be.
