Fantastic word game

Meat Loaf's best effort ever was probably back in the late 1970's when as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live he was introduced by Christopher Lee.

I'll always remember that introduction...Christopher was standing to the right side of the stage when he said, "ladies and gentlemen, I would like you to meet loaf".

Christopher Lee probably had his moment in the sun years ago because I've never heard of him so I think dmargalotti made it up.

Gone but not forgotten here at The FWG (or TFWG as some prefer), Anyacat, with help from quad, was instrumental in peer-pressuring me to join Facebook just so I could play FarmVille with them and then, wouldn't you know, less than 6 months later they had both quit the game.

I kept going, though, because I was hopelessly addicted. Eventually, 6 farms total on 2 FB accounts. Until this past January when I dumped it altogether. Cold turkey. Don't miss it one single bit.

Quad racing is what my neighbour does, but I always stuck to racing dirt bikes, and in later years, mountain bikes.

[size=8pt]That was before I got old and decided to settle down. Back when life was a bit more interesting. Back before a "fun night" meant going down to the office hours after the place closed, cardboard boxes in hand, and clearing out some of the accumulated-since-October junk on my desk, which is where I am right now!

At least I'll have a reasonably organised work area when I come in to-morrow....

Dirt bikes, and in later years, mountain bikes, have replaced Bullicia, the Illusions mechanical bull, as the source of thrill rides.

Them before and after pictures on all those weight loss commercials on TV sure to make you wonder if that stuff really works.

Feel free to issue a half demerit WMC for improper grammar usage but you've got to admit, that was a tough clue to work with.

Former fat people discuss war stories when they get together for their annual weight loss party.

I have no issue with your contribution, Mr. IDBC (although you did forget the word 'are' later in the sentence). ;D

Their annual weight loss party is just one of the various soirees, shindigs, clambakes, debutante balls, hoedowns, hootenannies, celebrations, and festivals that our friends Megan McCormick and Olivia Newton-John throw for other people annually each year, just because they are givers.

Givers are the type of people who usually find themselves surrounded by a bunch of takers which is probably just as well because what would be the point of giving if there was no one there to take what you're giving?

Your best intentions and hard work at weight loss or maintenance may be sidelined by a number of decades between 5'10" and svelte and 5'8" with a gravity thing going on and extra long sleeves.
