A cliff and the FWG (or TWFG as some prefer), in both cases, of course, being something that both couple of ladies are going to meet?

Of course, that's got to be what DTTJ meant.
 
Heartbeat was moving pretty fast today as I was again unable to contribute this morning and I was wicked skeered that we might lose the entire thread.
 
The entire thread moves ahead, even as we point out that a page ago WMC added a word to Silkie's bolded end clue, which begs the question whether he was willfully breaking band camp law while following me up on FWG (or TFWG as some prefer), or whether it was a mere oversight.
 
Whether it was a mere oversight or not, the R-I power switch has just flipped back on for yet another day of commenting and adding to the ever-growing FWG.
 
Lost time on the highway caused by a transmission failure in the Bronco had to be made up post-haste last weekend if I was to achieve my goal of reaching North Dakota by Sunday night.

Yeah, what happened, anyways? Another server phart? I was starting to suspect *my* server back in Vancouver was screwed up, or something had gone wrong in the fone company since I'm on a long-distance line!
 
"Work your plan, dmargalotti" is sound advice my friend but it's not my attitude that stands in the way for I can think of no sound reason why I would want to plan a visit to North Dakota.

Unless of course it was to meet Megan or Olivia.
 
Alone with your thoughts and the wind, I was contemplating throwing my laptop against the wall because, following a Windows update, I was unable for some strange reason to access this site but hopefully everything seems to be ok now because here I am.

Wierd. The site wouldn't come up via Google, Explorer, AOHell, nothing. Everything else came up, just not R-I. Don't know if it was the update or if it was the website. I tried 3 times to do a System Restore to before the update and the SR won't work (at least that's the message that came back after it went through its shenanigans). But it came up tonight, we'll see how long it lasts. I might have to get Darth and the techie crew on it if it happens again.

Oh, and Miss Silkie, sorry about the added word to your clue a page or two again. I noticed it long after the modify option expired and, by that time, there were many other contributions so I figured nobody noticed. Thanks for bringing it up. ;D
 
My God, Quad, for a minute there, I thought Anyacat was back with us because that's sort of, kind of, in a way, the type of contribution she might have made from time to time.

Dozen pages or so at a time is how we mark our progression much the way a skyscraper under construction slowly rises one floor at a time as it makes it's way to the stars.
 
The "stars" that have appeared on recent seasons of "Dancing With The Stars" are degenerating in terms of stardom.
 
Less than stellar posts occasionally find there way here to The FWG (or TFWG as MOST people seem to prefer) but thankfully those contributors quickly fall by the wayside.
