Fantastic word game

Years ago we only had 7 TV channels but it seemed like there was always something good to watch.

DOH....quad!

Channels on the tv back in the day had to be changed by hand.

A nice recovery of the picture, back in the day meant turning the rabbit ears this way and that, unless you were watching the UHF channels, for which you had the round antenna that you fooled with for a few seconds until you got the picture you wanted.

These days of course, you wait for several hours for technicians in their cherry pickers to figure out what is what.

Until you got the picture you wanted you had to put up with snow and static and sometimes even if you had good reception, you still had troubles watching the TV thanks to problems with the vertical and horizontal hold.

Hold onto your chair and don't fall off from shock when you realize that we actually had two pages of contributions today including several from DToTheJ who is usually a one-and-done kind of guy.

What to do, when to do it, where to do it, how to do it, with whom to do it, how long to do it: these are all restrictions a polygamist WMC would face before going out for the evening.

Drum major competition is pretty strict as far as music, community involvement, money donated, and other quantifiers are involved, but the drumline is usually filled out based on the "it" factor, or je ne sais quoi.

The "it" factor, or je ne sais quoi is something that Donna Summer, the queen of disco apparently had and while I was never a fan of her music, I was still sorry to hear of her passing today at the age of 63.

The age of 63 is an age by which settled, established people would normally be on their way to retirement, while others who may never even make it to reality get pitched quarters from nasty types with dirty fedoras..

Back in the early 80s I was going to a local community college and working at Sizzler Steak House.
