Fantastic word game

This holiday weekend, I'll probably stick close to home and do some stuff around here rather than join the stupidity on the roads.

Of course, I'll be at band camp tomorrow afternoon welcoming early arrivals to summer session move-in. Everything gets in to full swing on Sunday right through Monday. I'm sure I'll see all of you at some point over the weekend volunteering in some capacity.

Your cash supply is low any time you buy gas these days, but if you watch Megan McCormick in an episode of "Globe Trekker," then your overall mental health will be greatly improved.

Improved with each performance, Dave & Kenny's 80s Rockfest is making a special guest appearance at band camp this weekend to celebrate the summer session move-in.

To celebrate the summer session move-in we are going to have the kids gather on the band camp practice field tomorrow night for a pep rally which will be followed by a fireworks display.

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start to summer as people head to the beaches, open up the pools, have cookouts, install the air conditioners and Dave & Kenny's Saturday Night 80s Rockfest at Illusions moves to the outdoor dancefloor.

The outdoor dance floor had to be pulled inside because of the massive rainfall that was a component of the massive electrical storm that finally ended 10 minutes ago.

[size=8pt]Went on from about 1800 until about 2000 or so. Yesterday, on the other hand, it started about 1530 in the north-eastern end of Clark County and eventually worked its way past me about this same time.

Don't know what's with all the nasty weather we've been having lately, but maybe the white haze Portland's been hidden behind the last couple days has been washed away. (Seriously, there was so much smog over Portland yesterday afternoon at about 1600, it was very hard to see the airport tower from my little overlook at NE 192nd & Highway 14--usually I can most other days. Hate to be an asthmatic down there, oi.....)

The massive electrical storm that finally ended 10 minutes ago cleared out of the area and Dave & Kenny are back out there rocking them back to the dance floor.

Dave & Kenny are back out there rocking them back to the dance floor, except for the preening boys and the heifer chicks who are clogging the dance floor entrance near the mechanical bull, which reeks of dollar-store Stetson.

The mechanical bull, which reeks of dollar-store Stetson, has about the same stench as a rollercoaster after dmargalotti has been on it.

Exactly what he's been on is of no concern to us unless he is unable to perform his duties in which case he will be replaced.

Band Camp summer session move-in Day 1 (plus Early Move In yesterday) went very well. Thanks to everyone who volunteered today. Day 2 tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you all out there. Special appearance by Dave & Kenny at 2pm, mechanical bull not included.

Onward and upward we go ignoring false accusations regarding our personal hygiene from people who are just jealous of the fact that Olivia and Megan would rather spend a three day weekend with me.
