Fantastic word game

He was doing right when WMC met with dmarg, myself and the architectural firm which designed our new long-awaited, state-of-the-art Pendleton satellite campus, which will opening in less than a month.

[size=8pt]This bit from Marcius via the wgzoo News Spool (cue teletype music):
"For those who are going to be attending the Pendledeton satellite campus's opening celebration this July 3, probably best to book a room in town NOW before they fill up! There are still about 200 tickets left (out of the 8000 available) so grab one while you can. Enquire to WMC or to Silkie to obtain one. $1 each; profits to the Band Camp (who will be playing there, and accompanying our Buck Wild & His Trappers at the opening and at the 4th of July celebration.)"

There are 117 tickets left as of the time I submit this post. Better get yours NOW!

Our new long-awaited, state-of-the-art Pendleton satellite campus, which will opening in less than a month, is missing a very vital action verb, "be".

Be sure to join us for our new long-awaited, state-of-the-art Pendleton satellite campus, which will be opening in less than a month because it's going to be pretty spectacular and I would just like to take a moment to personally thank Darth for all his hard work because none of this would have happened if it wasn't for him.

Well done, Darth...well done sir indeed!

The FWG (or TFWG as some prefer) does indeed owe a debt of gratitude to the Dude for his role in founding this thread however the success and longevity of the FWG (or TFWG as some prefer) is the result of the hard work and dedication from numerous contributors over the years.

On the weak the world preys, but the strong will always overcome.

[size=8pt]According to the memo Mr. Fielder posted this morning (http://mistman.pdp10.org/pub/filebox/fwg/wgzoo/netnews/a01/27), it appears the Band Camp folks will be heading out to Pendleton on the train this year. Can't say I blame them for this decision; any more these days, flying is becoming way too much of a financial hardship and a bloody bureaucratic hassle to even be considered remotely viable! That, and trains are just damn cool.

(Thanks, dmarg! I don't know if you've seen the photographs yet that are circulating of the new campus. All I can say is if you haven't seen them yet, do. ;o)

As close to the beach or a pool as possible is a good place to be when the weather gets hot but for those of you who aren't able to do that you can always cool off with a nice topless drive.

There's nothing like the sensation of having the wind blow through your hair...or in my case, over my scalp.

A nice topless drive is definitely great this time of the year, but unfortunately I don't have a convertible.

Fresh air on a topless drive gives me time to meditate and think and contemplate just like Anyacat did.

I did all 3 of those things because, as we all know, Anycat liked words. ;D

Everything I want to do today begins with an early morning contribution to The FWG (or TFWG as some prefer) and I can't think of a better way to start my day.

Good morning, campers!

A better way to start my day would be listening to Olivia Newton-John singing or watching an episode of "Globe Trekker" with Megan McCormick, but I think I might just go take a power nap.
