Fantastic word game

The tourney for this years' band camp 3-on-3 basketball tournament will take place next weekend in the campus gymnasium and since this is a co-ed event, someone needs to please tell WMC that it would be completely inappropriate and probably illegal for the kids to play skins versus shirts.

Skins versus shirts worked for the first several of the FWG (or TFWG as some prefer) alumni basketball games, and it spread to most competitive events at the reunions, but gradually things like gravity and time took their tolls on that practice.

Though topless driving is still a sanctioned event.

Skins versus shirts sounds more appropriate for our private behind-closed-doors staff/alumni tournament.

I'm aware of the legalities, Mr. IDBC. :p

Darn that quadraphonic for sneaking in.

That practice is used in certain sub-Saharan African band camp campuses but we have to teach them the American ways when they come to visit.

Samantha Brown from the Travel Channel probably has more frequent flyer miles than she knows what to do with.

She knows what to do with all those frequent flyer miles and she also knows that I would gladly pick her up at the airport anytime she wants to fly in to my neck of the woods for a visit.

Never be turned down is the motto of the guy who reserves a big sand circle in the backyard for the annual setting up of the pool, taping last year's torn lining with pool tape and using tomato stakes to improvise for the lost pool frame holder upper thingies, before inviting all of his kids' new best friends over to play in the pool, instead of just joining band camp and swinging in the inner tube on the rope and jumping into the swimming hole.

Swinging in the inner tube on the rope and jumping into the swimming hole is just but one form of recreation that the band campers have access to during their downtime.

Everybody went back in the pool at Vista Del Rio after the "grown-ups only" swimming period was over except for me and my little mates, because it was roundabout 1800 and we had to head back to my Grandma's place up the hill in time for dinner, lest we should have incurred her wrath.

[size=8pt]Just met up with an old school friend of mine from way, way back in the mists of time a few minutes ago on Wikimapia, of all sites! Completely by chance, even--I was editing buildings in that vicinity that weren't there back then, and he had posted an essay about his childhood growing up at his Grandma's place there about 1/2 hour earlier (about an hour ago, by now.)

So even though we haven't really talked to each other in about 15 years, I know this guy like the back of my hand and immediately recognise his writing style, so I'm absolutely certain he's not some impostor from Timbuktu. I'm hoping he'll show up at my forthcoming high-school reunion, since he, too, was a fellow Plainsman, albeit for only a few months before we graduated.......

Lest we should have incurred her wrath after the customers failed to make a single pass at the Illusions waitress.

The Illusions waitress does her best to weave around the people dancing to Dave & Kenny's music and those riding or falling off the mechanical bull.

Before it's too late is not that much of a concern because we have not as of yet set a date for reaching our goal of 10,000 pages probably because we've got such a long way to go but maybe if we issued a challenge like Kennedy did in 1960 when he said we would have a man on the moon by the end of the decade, we'd get to 10,000 pages sooner rather than later.
