Fantastic word game

Who asked for it when all those dead threads were brought back to life by Yez will never be known but, right now, our thread has dropped a tad because no one has been here all day so I'm here to bump us back to the top even though, unlike all those others, our thread will never be dead.

Five more posts shouldn't be difficult to attain although, more than likely, it will happen in the overnight hours with the help of some of our insomniac friends.

Keep on rockin' in the free world and keep on rockin' with Dave & Kenny and their 80s Rockfest down at Illusions which just kicked into high gear for its last 6 hours of the night.

Its last six hours of the night were spent idle after it had previously spent a good deal of time trying to decrypt a garbled message sent down the pike to my terminal, which for the most part, was thought to be PGP'd or something, but as it turns out it was sent in EBCDIC, and being that we're on mainly DEC and X86en at the Computer Centre with ne'ery an IBM mainframe in sight, effectively it was sent using the wrong character encoding.

[size=8pt]In other words, "if you have to ASCII, you won't understand".

And don't ask why I was in the computer centre during summer break, and on a Saturday yet. I have my reasons......

It was sent using the wrong character encoding is something that happens at work every once in a while when using Satori, a program for Mail sorting.

Illusions was lit up tonight with our great 80s hits, the mechanical line was long, and the rock is continuing til dawn, all favorites coming up Howard, Olivia, Robert Palmer, Bruce, and many many more.

Looks like the next post will be page 2300, the first early morning (Sunrise) post.

On computers as well as phones, blackberries and other devices, people get their news all sorts of ways at all times of the day.

Onward to page 2400.

All times of the day are good for thinking about page 3000, including a certain librarian who was thinking about it when keeping an eye on prized page 2300.

When keeping an eye on prized page 2300, it's important to remember that there are still 700 pages to go until Page 3000 which we will get to in short order.

A great day will be had by all now that we've seen the Early Morning Contribution.

Except for some people in the south getting a lot of nasty hurricane/tropical storm weather.

The Fourth of July is a big day at all of our band camp locations across the U.S. because our workers, volunteers, family, friends, and alumni will get to enjoy a huge fireworks display while our campers perform the music of John Phillip Sousa.

John Phillip Sousa even did a march for the transit of Venus last time around (not 2012), which tells us that we were part of the in-crowd this time around.

So, some pig has been follerin' me around on a regular basis for nearly a year, in all kinds of weird ways. It is really quite creepy, especially when they try to keep tabs on comings and goings.
