Fantastic word game

Prankstering and hijinks mostly occur during the annual April Fool's Employee Tomfoolery Day but sometimes, to break up the monotony, someone will prank someone else.

Like that time I phoned dmargalotti and pretended I was quadraphonic. Whoooey, that was a doozy.

Someone will prank someone else, then someone else will prank someone else, then the first person pranks someone else again, then the second person gets back into the mix and pranks the first one, then it spreads like a Breck commercial until, one day, it's Thunderdome!

Funny how this week just flew by when for some reason, with new responsibilities at work, I half-expected it to just creep along.

Traffic can sometimes be difficult, but it would always go more smoothly if they would just install digital billboards running "Globe Trekker" every 50 feet, with sound provided by the appropriate Part 15-compliant transmitters, unless the FCC would just do the right thing and reserve an FM channel for the audio.

The FCC would just do the right thing and reserve an FM channel for the audio if we submitted a petition with enough signatures and then we could set up a series of repeaters around the globe so people everywhere could hear all the wonderful music from our band camps.

All the wonderful music from our band camps is currently playing the "Welcome to TFWG" (or the FWG, as no one prefers) theme as we welcome scanman1 to our little game.

Since neither quad or dm bothered to welcome him.

Scanman, welcome aboard, please drop by frequently. If you are unfamiliar with us, please use the previous bolded ending contribution as your beginning clue and please remember to bold your new ending contribution. Please use one sentence and one sentence only. Please contact quadraphonic with any issues and he will be in touch to show you around campus. If you last a week, I'll invite you up to the corner office for another official welcome. ;)

Unobtrusive is how you could describe the arrangement of the furniture in my home.

Thanks for the welcome. Figured I'd just kind of slip in and start playing along (I did read the rules at the beginning of the thread before doing so). Hopefully, I'll end up making some worthwhile contributions to TFWG! :)

Furniture in my home always gets cleaned up before a Megan McCormick or Olivia Newton-John visit.

So it never really gets dirty.
Oh yeah...
Welcome scaaaaannnnnnnnnmaaaaaaannnnnnnnn!

Highly unlikely that we'll reach 10,000 pages by the end of the year (we aren't THAT good) but, then again, if we get a couple thousand more people just showing up like scanman, maybe it will happen.

Scanman, we have evolved slightly from the rules at the beginning of the thread which, in case you hadn't noticed, has been going strong now for 5 1/2 years, easily the most active and longest continuing thread on Radio-Info.

For purposes of introduction, here is our staff:

WMC (that's me): Game Czar
International Director of Band Camp, Director of Early Morning Contributions: dmargalotti
Director of TPS Reports: quadraphonic
Head Librarian, Chief Mixologist, Director of Fun, and Manager of Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits: Silkie (who is not a guy ;D )
Director of Information Technology: Darth_Vader

We have an assortment of regulars and semi-regulars who contribute to the game including Radioman who is also a newbie so if you have any 'starting off' questions, I'm sure he can help you.

As you have already figured out, please italicize any dialogue to differentiate it from the game's contributions.

TFWG (or the FWG as some people, I can't imagine who, prefer) is governed by a Board of Directors (us) who are, in turn, directed by a Board of Governors from Powerworld LLC, a subsidiary of Radio-Info.com (our best friends in the whole wide world).

Aside from the rules I stated yesterday, here's a couple more. Take everything with a grain of salt and have fun.
