Fantastic word game

International Band Camp Director dmargalotti is well entrenched in his position and can be counted on to fulfill his duties daily with nary a worry from anyone.

Speaking of Pachinko, there's a pachinko machine in the closet about 20 feet away from me. My brother and I received it as a Christmas present probably 30 years ago. A grade school friend of mine had one and I was enthralled...enthralled, I say!...by it when I first saw it when I was over his house one day after school. it's not in the best shape anymore, it's kinda dusty, but it still works....pretty much

Nary a worry from anyone was expressed that the flag bearer, who either dipped our flag (unthinkable) or let it slip so that she could wave to the crowd (also unthinkable), might have been trained at our band camp, which teaches all manner of flag etiquette, including at the Olympics.

We note that texting was probably also going on while trying to hold the flag with one hand.

At the Olympics, our International Director of Band Camp is doing his thing with the help of a few of the library library interns.

Because where better than the Olympics should an international director be. This is what he was trained for!

The library library interns are noted for their thoroughness and efficiency, and are only made library library interns after proper seasoning as entry-level library interns.

Entry-level library interns are selected based on aptitude, attitude, and ability although if it was up to WMC the selection process would be based strictly on appearance.

the library library interns.

That, of course, should say 'the lovely library interns'. Can't believe nobody called me on that. What is this game coming to? :D

Under the sun, during this hot and humid weather, we should stay cool, drink plenty of fluids, and check out all the eye candy we can.

All the eye candy we can disable, including animations, fades, popups etc., are dealt with as such, because not only do such things merely hog memory, disk space and resources whilst contributing nothing to the user's productivity, but when one logs in to the system and the graphic environment, he should be presented with a streamlined and minimal, yet still fully customisable and efficient desktop/user interface, not a video game.

[size=8pt]So now you know why I've always felt modern desktops to be absolutely worthless. I'm still on KDE3 on the machine I'm typing this on, with all the eye candy completely disabled; hell, even on my NT boxen "cmd.exe" is my choice UI! Nice and lightweight. Even though it looks like DOS, it's still 100% the same crappy Winblow$ underneath.

And WMC, I have a pachinko machine. Actually my Mum has it and it's "officially" Gran's, but it's still in Mum's house/my current full-time place of residence; well, you get the idea. It's a late 1960s "Shiroi-Kamone", the name of which I imagine I have probably horribly misspelt, made by Nishijin; an oldie-but-goodie. I used to play with that thing a LOT when I was a kid!

A streamlined and minimal, yet still fully customisable and efficient desktop/user interface, not a video game, sounds to me like alot of gobbledeegook but I know that to Darth and the boys in IT it means alot so I let them do their thing without questioning their intentions.

Without questioning their intentions it's hard to understand their motivations.

I swear that's what I posted this afternoon. If it comes back up later, please work around this post.

Up into the hundred-thousand ranges is a bold prediction for the future but, for now in the present, it's my pleasure to welcome us into a new day.

Welcome us into a new day WMC, and thank you for doing it, because someone else has been busy posting dozens of random thoughts, many in response to their self, on the board, most likely never once mentioning Megan McCormick or Olivia Newton-John.

Megan McCormick or Olivia Newton-John have thus far not been a part of the summer Olympic games and festivities in England but I'm hoping that maybe they will be taking part in the closing ceremonies.

They were included in the schedule of events when we had the dedication and grand opening of the new band camp library but unfortunately some scheduling conflicts prevented them from appearing here.

In all our years here at The FWG (or TFWG as some prefer), I think it's the only time I've actually seen quadraphonic cry.

Appearing here and there are our own band campers who are starting to get excited already about the possibility that school is just around the corner.
