Fantastic word game

The bottom of the lake is where we would all deserve to be if we were party to such shenanigans and hijinks and tomfoolery as that risky business dmargalotti just recounted.

dmargalotti just recounted what appears to be a sad situation, except that our band campers grow up to be genuinely nice guys and not the ones who have their respectable faces on when they return home from working vacations, or after they remove their hands and hats from their laps and leave the theater.

Five years old at our last anniversary, we are still moving along as best we can, some good days, some bad days, and as any of those risky business types know, sometimes ya just gotta say "What the crap!"

It's actually a different word than crap but this is a family program, we gotta keep it clean for the band camp kiddies, not to mention staying on the good side of R-I's terms of service. ;D

So people complain about us in the Annoy thread? I haven't paid attention to that thread in a long long time and it's several years old itself (although not as lengthy and certainly not as good. I might have to check it out to see what all the fuss is about.

What the crap was on the bottom of my shoe the other day I still don't know, but it looked like ectoplasm.

You must be thinking about that thread by LasVegasRadioJunky that was supposed to compete with the FWG (or TFWG as some prefer). I forget the name of the thread, but he hasn't posted since March 3, 2011
All righty looked it up. IMPOSSIBLE TRIVIA GAME it was. That game had too much subjectivity, which technically I guess helped it live up to its name. Wonder what happened to LVRJ.

Ectoplasm is cleaned out of the fishing pond each and every day.

LVRJ probably got tired of the complaints. He was very specific about what he was looking for in answers. Didn't matter that we might have had the right answer, if it didn't match HIS answer, then it was wrong. But, you are right, he just disappeared, much the same way raptusregalitur disappeared. I have a feeling that raptus got suspended from the board (again) and so never came back. I think I tried emailing him once or twice but never got a response. that was after the 2nd disappearance. After the first, he did get back to me so I dunno. Or, both of them may have joined Anyacat at the great gigabyte in the sky. Raptus might not mind that so much. ;D

Pretty close, statistically speaking to figuring out why people are annoyed by our little game and think it might have something to do with not appreciating a little fun on this here forum.

On this here forum, like on all forums, there are people who take things in stride and roll with the post-by-post changes, and then there are those who nitpick and parse thread titles and impose their own standards on others, and demand that people not vary from the(ir) proscribed topics and speech, as if the world is linear and stays in the box they want it to stay in, and as if this world and the communication therein is not fraught with vagaries and tangents that make life sweeter and fuller and richer than anything that stays in a box for the sake of staying in the box.

Staying in the box would be a struggle for a new pet dog that drank a little too much water before being adopted.

Being adopted by us and our game is something everyone can expect regardless of race, creed, color or sex because if there's one thing we all accept here at TFWG (or tFWG or the FWG, a some prefer), it's lots of sex.

Lots of sex is determined by lots of doctors tending to lots of pregnant women curious to find out the gender of their unborn.

Office space is now available for rent or lease in the former "A" and "B" blocks of the VanPDX campus; call Jack at Yoyodyne Property Management on WInfield 8-6000 for information.

[size=8pt]The good news is, at least they decided not to tear it all down. The bad news is, given the dryrot and other structural problems present in those buildings, they'll have their work cut out for them just in keeping it all up to code (or even keeping them standing, for that matter!) I don't know why YPM didn't just knock them down and build anew on the property; it'd have been far cheaper and safer, I think. The existing buildings have been there since the early 1960s and are literally falling apart. Oh well, I guess it's out of our hands now. Tenant beware.......

Finished installing and testing the new network cabling in the "C" block yesterday afternoon. The project's now done about a week ahead of time. At least we have a few days before the new term begins next Wednesday.

Call Jack at Yoyodyne Property Management on WInfield 8-6000 for information and if you get him on the phone ask him if his refrigerator is running or if he has Prince Albert in a can.
