Informed decisions about personnel are assisted by verification technologies that I did help install, but which are actually managed, operated and (more or less) maintained independently by the guys in 314, thus its operation is actually out of my hands more or less entirely.
[size=8pt]I usually only get involved in its operation when they have problems keeping it connected to wgnet and start dropping trouble cards or it gets so badly messed up and nonresponsive that it can't be fixed by "normal" means (i.e. a hard reboot) and I have to bring in the crash cart, otherwise it's a completely seperate affair from the Computer Centre and I don't really have any other part in it.
