Fantastic word game

New goals and strategies may be necessary to accomplish what they're attempting to accomplish when the present goals and strategies fail.

[size=8pt]Like how the present owners of what used to be the "A" and "B" buildings of the VanPDX satellite are going to manage them since the four-alarm fire there early Friday morning. The "C" building, garage and greenhouse weren't affected, being sited on the other end of the property, but the other two were completely destroyed.

Oh well, at least they're out of our hands; now they're Somebody Else's Problem to deal with.

When the present goals and strategies fail we shall have to teach made from scratch cake batter from our newest book on the law of tortes.

:)o)

The law of tortes, written and edited by our own Miss Silkie, is available at the library, online, and at any of our local bookstores.

Our local bookstores also have book after book about how our kids don't ask for broccoli, carrots, peas or spinach, but we make sure to have more than enough of everything on hand so that, just like Popeye, they can be strong to the finish.

Of course, we frown on smoking, so without his pipe how does Popeye get that can of spinach open in a pinch?

They can be strong to the finish because they crush that can of spinich with their massive anchor-tattooed arms just like Popeye The Sailor Main (PTSM as most prefer).

Popeye The Sailor Main (PTSM as most prefer) has been used as a branding image for spinach, which can't be said for any other single person I can think of, butOlivia Newton-John and/or Megan McCormick would also have been a good choice.

He was so flummoxed by his typo that he just couldn't bear to come up with a good excuse so he decided to give himself three demerits and deal with the shame.

However, one wonders why quadraphonic didn't notice it. ???

They say that we are the best in the business and they are right because we have the longest and most active thread on these here boards.

These here boards, especially this one, get so busy that this thread occasionally falls from grace and so it takes someone like me to follow my own self to bump it back up.

Bump it back up every time it falls, with everything you've got!

I thought you were saying "Popeye the Sailor Main" on purpose, because sometimes it sounded like Popeye might have had a Mexican accent, and sometimes he spoke like a rapper.
Even if it hadn't come across with an accent, I would have probably overlooked it anyway, being a forgiving, easy-going, happy-go-lucky board member.

Our lunch period is staggered throughout the late morning and early afternoon for the various shifts but there's always something delicious in the TFWG Cafeteria thanks to Miss Silkie and her Tasty Tidbits staff.

quad, you don't have to defend yourself to me, you need to defend yourself to Miss Silkie. And good luck with THAT. :D

This position is astounded that there are only 2 contributions since my own early this morning and I have to wonder what in the world you have all been doing and with whom all day long.
