No tunnels on the way makes it way less echo-y when I honk the horn incessantly but I still throw in the occasional "Shave and a Haircut, two bits" on the way to work.
Merchandise in our band camp thrift shop is often donated by the parents and grandparents of our campers and we are very grateful for their generosity.
Generosity is unsurpassed among our campers, who donate the best quality of everything, and also save some spare change up to donate to the Little Sisters of The Poor, which is more than can be said of those other band camps and campers.
Those other band camps and campers just don't have the resources that PowerWorld has so it's never a surprise when those band camps come calling asking us to buy them out.
Buy them out when they have legitimate copies of Olivia Newton-John's and Megan McCormick's work, but if you see any more copies of "Let's Get Fizzical" "Zannadoo" or "Glob Tracker" then you should immediately know it's a hastily-thrown-together knock-off (or counterfeit or bootleg as some prefer).
Knock-off (or counterfeit or bootleg as some prefer) copies of movies and Rock albums are something I proactively avoid buying, even if the counterfeiter is offering them at an attractively lower price.
Be neutered or spayed is how Bob Barker wanted us to care for our pets and he would often make that plea at the end of The Price Is Right (or TPIR as some prefer).
The Price Is Right (or TPIR as some prefer) is now hosted by Drew Carey but he has kept up Bob Barker's tradition of ending each episode by asking people to help control the pet population.
The road seems to have been blocked since late this afternoon since no one has bothered contributing so I'm here to tell everyone that those roadblocks have been lifted so let's get back to it.
Let's get back to it, and by "it" I mean Kenny & Dave's 80s Rockfest on KFWG and WFWG and the national system of translator stations, and worldwide on the PowerWorld World Service.
The PowerWorld World Service provides news, information, and entertainment to our band camps around the globe and we would like to remind our staff, students, and volunteers along the east coast of the U.S. to stay tuned for important updates on Hurricane Sandy.
Hurricane Sandy, with her imminent arrival, has forced us to activate our PowerWorld Band Camp Hurricane Emergency Shelter Preparedness Team (PWBCHESPT as most prefer) in which all band camps are open and everyone is invited for food and shelter for as long as is needed.
Volunteers are available including all of us on the Executive Board if they are able. Darth and his team are keeping a watchful eye on the networking infrastructure. Everything should be ok, though, because I think it's a very good omen that the storm's name is Sandy which, of course, was Olivia Newton-John's character's name in Grease.
For as long as is needed, we will keep rolling along on our quest to hit 10,000 pages even if we need to take a hurricane break which is apparently what most contributors are doing so it's up to me to keep us moving forward.
To keep us moving forward, and to keep us on the top of the main page of the OTA board where we belong, I'll just have to keep following myself until everyone else gets back here.
