PowerWorld Board of Trustees (or PWBT as some prefer) members must adhere to a strict set of guidelines that all relate to our band campers' education and well being.

Our band campers' education and well being is most certainly the top priority.

The top priority for us is to reach Page 10,000 but that's our long term goal while our short term goal is to get there page by page.

"Get there page by page and post by post" is the advice they first gave us when we started the new way of doing things.

Doing things our way is the best way to get to our destination but we are certainly open to listening to other ideas.

Other ideas have come and gone, but whoever came up with Megan McCormick's hosting and Olivia Newton-John's singing should get a Nobel Prize for something!

A Nobel Prize for something would be a most excellent achievement.

Lifestyle issues have been disrupted for hundreds of thousands of NY and NJ residents including one of our own so we sure hope that things get back to normal soon for everyone involved.

Hurricane Sandy has been all the news this week, which I have mostly missed.

Missed my chance to visit relatives in California at the end of the summer, so I'm gonna do so over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, Rex Ryan will probably make up for lost eating time since he'll be busy coaching on Thanksgiving night.

Thanksgiving night, I'll be volunteering at the Annual PowerWorld Band Camp First Responders Thanksgiving Feast (APWBCFRTF as most prefer).

It's always a big hit and a good chunk of PW staff volunteers. I expect to see most of you there as usual.
